Sadly I'm passed caring if Fabregas and Nasri go or whether we sign Mata, Jagielka or whoever else. The whole situation is a complete and utter fucking shambles.

True, not a patch on Szczesney, Flappy or Almunia is he.

It's hard to see all the machinations of what's going on, and how things will end, but I would not be surprised to see Cesc leave for between £30m and £35m, plus a Barcelona squad player, and no-one will be signed to replace him - plus Nasri will stayand will have an in and out season before moving for top wages.
Yep - I've been saying to this a few mates. I honestly think it will be about £35M and a random Barca player. Would have loved Thiago before he started banging them in pre-season.

Nasri will stay in my eyes. Arsenal will not allow both him and Cesc to go in one summer. I don't share people's opinion that he should just be sold because he only has 1 year left on his contract. If he has a blinder it will be worth a lot more than £20M.

United ain't trying to flog Berbatov and he's only got 1 year left. They paid £30M for that misog as well.

No-one's saying that m8, they're saying either sign a new one or go now. Won't get a penny for him next year.

Do we not put buy out clauses in players contracts.

If we do, what was Cesc's :?:
If we don't, why not :banghead:

A couple of things that are different. Berbatov doesn't want to leave. Nasri has had his head turned, and it is a question of attitude rather than 1 year left, and whether you believe that he is indispensible (I do not, regardless of Cesc leaving). Wenger is willing to play poker on £25m, I would guess on the fact that he thinks he can convince Nasri to stay.

The other thing is that Berbatov has a further 1 year on top of his last year, Man Utd have taken it up so there is no issue this summer like Nasri.

Arsene: 'we'll have him then'

Valencia: 'got the dosh?'

Arsene: 'it's Sunday m8, we're good for it tho'

Valencia: 'sorry no dice'

I don't see the release clause stuff affecting the Mata bid.

And Joey Barton has apparently been released by NUFC on a free. Would love us to sign him :barscarf:

As an ex-Gillingham player Matt Jarvis is clearly good enough for us.
