So, what are you looking forward to in the coming season?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

i too will be looking forward to liverpool fold, despite the return of the king.

Only because of the scouse supporters in the media desperetely tried to hype them up in preseason, with rooney and fergie throwing them out as a 'threat' forgetting that they also mentioned us :barscarf: so were merely trying to hype the next season, when in reality 3 rich teams will fight it out for trophies.

Its like asking brazilians can england win the world cup, then jumping for joy when they say 'sure, anything can happen', do you think they take us seriously???

I'm looking forward to Cesc and Nasri fucking off, along with a few other losers. Seems only Bendy and Eboue at the moment, and surely Almunia.

Also looking forward to seeing how 'fit' Fabregas really is, as I'm pretty certain that once he is a Barca player he will play 90 minutes in the next game, with no signs of his 'crippling injury' that made him miss the end of last season and the start of the preparations for this season.

Positives about The Arsenal?

Well, Wilshere and Ramsey in midfield. That should cheer us up.

Now the wishful thinking bit.

Looking forward to RvP playing a full season, and winning the Golden Boot.
Looking forward to Gervinho being another 'wonder signing' by Wenger, who will lift the whole squad.
Looking forward to A.N. Other coming in at Centre Back and strengthening our defence.
Looking forward to Chesney finally replacing Seaman as a proper keeper for us. ( and I haven't forgotten Jens ).

OR...

That we fail to win a game until November, and that Wenger gets kicked out of the Club and has to do the walk of shame.

We then get a caretaker manager in from within the Club ( Bould...and Brady?!? ) till season end, and they revolutionise and revitalise the Club to such an extent that we still qualify for the Champions League and everything can start again at the Club.

Come On Arsenal! And fuck off wenger.

I´m looking forward to see players like Wilshere, Ramsey Vermaelen, van Persie & Szczesny wearing our shirt. A couple of good games in PL and some 1-2 good games in the CL group stage.
That´s it. The rest will be underwhelming. To many conceded goals. Too many draws and defeats :x
Too many f***ed up quotes from Wenger. Nothing but weasel words from him.

I'm looking forward to that little dance that Eboue does. Brilliant!!

If only he could learn to play football as well . . . . . .

I'm looking forward to seeing if we can set a new record for imploding after a strong half time lead. We have managed 4-0, I'm sure we can throw away a 5-0 lead.

Just loaned my first ever ST, feeling maybe this is the season when this will turn.
After yesterdays shambles, feel like a right mug.
Can't even be bothered to attended the first game!

prbably want to see our mid field, with Wilshere, and Ramsey.. Feel like a great paternership in the making.
Also Gervinho seems like a good buy.

I would like to know what the odds are for arsenal to drop out the top four this year... I'd have thought it was odds on judging by the issues at the club at the moment :(

I'm looking forward to the torrent of abuse that's deservedly coming Wenger's way from The Arsenal crowd, it's been long overdue. I'm also looking forward to dropping out the Champion's League either through the qualifying games coming up or by dropping out the top 4 the coming season, I can't stand the competition, and we'll never win it anyway, with Wenger in charge.
