No, I just think he's fucking overrated, as is Barton. I'm sorry lads but are we seriously having a debate about if Barton or Charlie fucking Adam is good enough for us??? I couldn't give a toss if he's now at Liverpool and bagged a handfull of free kicks last year, they don't cut the mustard to wear our shirt. Look at united, how many of their current squad would make the 99 treble team? Quite a few I'd say...now look at us, how many would make the invincibles? 3? 4 maybe? Well that's the standard we should be hitting, and Barton and fucking Adam aint that! And yes there are players out there of that standard who would be at this standard who wouldn't be out of our price range. Cahill, Benzema. There that's 2!

Song Diaby Rosicky play centre midfield.

He's not my first choice or anything like it but still would have Barton over all of them any day of the week.

I heard Tom Watt on the radio last week (i hate that condescending cunt at the best of times anyway) but he was in extreme Wenger arse kissing mode saying Wenger will only pay what he thinks is the price and not a penny more and Watt was saying how good that is!!!!!!! The price is what the selling team set not what you fancy setting it at, sometimes you have to pay over the odds for a player thats not saying you have to go bankrupt for a signing but if you bid the same this summer as last for Jag. what do you expect the answer to be??? Wenger is a deluded, up his own arse wanker

There's no way 3-4 of this present squad would make the invincibles, who do you think they are anyway? I think only Cesc would make THE SQUAD, and that's it. The majority of our squad is shit, and needed a major overhaul 2 seasons ago, it still hasn't happened, and we're still left with these inept players on long contracts and big money, and yes, Barton and Adam are an upgrade on what's at our club at the moment.

The snobbery of some on here. Charlie Adam is playing for a bigger club than us now, and one who will likely finish ahead of us.

As for Barton, he would walk into our side ahead of shite like Song, Diaby, Denilson who always play.
