Your a disgrace Gallas
Call yourself a captain you tosser, you was having a good laugh with ade after he did'nt square it to Bendtner to finish the game off.
Remember Gallas reaction after Bendtner's own goal at shite hart lane,no gee up for Bendtner just a yell up to the nighttime sky.
Fuck off Gallas if your not a team player
Fuck off Gallas if you cant lead by example
I dont want him representing my club with that shit attitude
If only he had an ounce of Tony Adams leadership qualities
Fuck off Gallas

Effectively, you're pissed off with him because he's obsessed with winning the league, and wants to better both the squad and the club. Maybe he shows it in the wrong way, but his heart is in the right place, and this should be recognised. I can't think of any other players at the club right now who show any amount of passion.

Maybe it does, but it's not the behaviour you expect from a captain. He's supposed to be above such petulance.Effectively, you're pissed off with him because he's obsessed with winning the league, and wants to better both the squad and the club. How would you react at work if your line manager or supervisor behaved in this manner?
Looked more like 2 on 1 to me..rebel gooner wrote:jimthe dutch,, are you a plonker or what,,![]()
gallas was pissed off but only because the man is a winner and ade was one on one with keeper,, plenty spoken about this on other threads so there was no need to start another
Still maintain he should have squared it..he looked up and saw bentdner but decided to shoot..while nick was lookin at an empty net..

Do you think he would has squared it if it was Fabregas or Hleb for example? Bearing in mind that Adebayor and Bendtner are not the best of matesGE|2|2Y wrote:Looked more like 2 on 1 to me..rebel gooner wrote:jimthe dutch,, are you a plonker or what,,![]()

excuse me but all season ive slagged ade off as not been good enough for the arsenal but since before xmas he's led by example and his goals have kept us top so leave him alone
without him we wouldnt be top and as for gallas well if other players had his mental attitude then we wouldnt have too many worries either

There's been many occasions over the years where we've blown important games (the Bolton 2-2 game springs to mind; eerily reminiscent of today's game in many ways), and the players have just walked off dejected, and that was that. I myself was absolutely pissed off at the end of today's game, which we should've won. Rather than watch on as the players walk off the pitch to collect their inflated pay cheques and shrug their shoulders, it was refreshing to see a player with the same passion as myself.Cus Geezer wrote:Maybe it does, but it's not the behaviour you expect from a captain. An editorial from an older fan earlier this week suggested that there is no longer any kind of relationship between the players and the fans, but today, Gallas showed me exactly what he's all about. For someone who's only been at the club for 18 months or so, he's proven that he's more bothered than most of those who arrived long before him.
You could argue that the other players are equally as frustrated, but show it in different ways; but when the smoke clears and the next game is underway, they don't seem to maintain their reaction and play out of their skins. Gallas was chosen as captain for a reason, and that's because he's the most devoted person at the club.
Jim the dutch, call yourself a true arsenal fan...
Lay off gallas who played his ass off beyond his 30 years old, and start thinking about guys like bendtner that are 20 an not even busrting a single lung.
Oh! And btw, the first goal from mcfadden... Well if you look closerly the ball goes inches over Bendtner's head. But who cared at this moment anyway? Not a SINGLE person jumped in the wall!

I think this is ridiculous - just because players walk off dejected, how do you know their merely shrugging their shoulders and looking forward to hitting the town tonight with their big wages? There's been many occasions over the years where we've blown important games (the Bolton 2-2 game springs to mind; eerily reminiscent of today's game in many ways), and the players have just walked off dejected, and that was that. Your not in the dressing room with them are you, how did you come to such a conclusion?
Would you like players to walk around with a big sandwich board after the final whistle with 'we are not happy too' written on it for some reassurance?
With all do respect, if you watch arsenal since 75 (which i cannot claim as I wasn't even born then) then I don't understand why you say this. We may lack effectiveness, we may lack experience, we may lack many things, but certainly not class! We've been playing one of the most entertaining football in europe these past years, and specially this year.
I understand your point of view. I am as angry as you are, and probably as Gallas was at the end of the game. We were a terrible disgrace today -fact-.
But imagine how you would play after seeing your mate having his ankle ripped off. Just look at Fabregas's face after seing Edu on the ground. And Fab was transparent today! I'm not giving him any excuses for the past few games where he wasn't up to it either, but today was a particular day (in a sad way)...

Well, this is the point. I'm not in the dressing room with them afterwards, and I don't meet them in the champagne nightclubs later in the day. All I can judge them on is their behaviour on the pitch. And as far as that goes, Gallas is the only one who looks like he gives a toss.Cus Geezer wrote:I think this is ridiculous - just because players walk off dejected, how do you know their merely shrugging their shoulders and looking forward to hitting the town tonight with their big wages? There's been many occasions over the years where we've blown important games (the Bolton 2-2 game springs to mind; eerily reminiscent of today's game in many ways), and the players have just walked off dejected, and that was that. If the other players were that bothered, they'd come out for the next game all fired up. But I haven't seen that once this season, so from that, I assume that Wenger is telling them that everything's ok. One of the headlines on Arsenal.com right now is 'Wenger - Why should I be worred?'
Obviously, this was before today's game.
We were a disgrace today were we ??FrenchGun wrote: I understand your point of view. I am as angry as you are, and probably as Gallas was at the end of the game. We were a terrible disgrace today -fact-.

Gallas was a twat at the end but I don't remember anyone being a disgrace today? I thought the players were brilliant in the 2nd half and were superb putting Eddy's injury to the back of their minds. I thought CESC has a good game ??
