Just fucking sign him, he's just the sort of player we need.
No, I just think he's fucking overrated, as is Barton. I'm sorry lads but are we seriously having a debate about if Barton or Charlie fucking Adam is good enough for us???!
TONY Adams. Not Charlie cunting Adam!
Haha, right got ya...although talking of Big Tone in the same breath as Barton is an insult to the legend...different characters as well, let's be honest. Just saying   8)
Fair dues

How is it that the bid for Jagielka this season is lower than the bid made last season, it also happened with Schwarzer last season, I bet that Wenger will be gutted if one of these bids actually succeeds because I feel that he doesn't want these players, but puts bids in just to appease the fans... of course if we do eventually end up with a few additions, I'll be proved wrong, but our whole transfer policy is flawed and I feel the club is playing a game with us.
Totally agree mate he makes shit bids so that he can say he tried...

I heard Tom Watt on the radio last week (i hate that condescending cunt at the best of times anyway) but he was in extreme Wenger arse kissing mode saying Wenger will only pay what he thinks is the price and not a penny more and Watt was saying how good that is!!!!!!! The price is what the selling team set not what you fancy setting it at, sometimes you have to pay over the odds for a player thats not saying you have to go bankrupt for a signing but if you bid the same this summer as last for Jag. what do you expect the answer to be??? Wenger is a deluded, up his own arse wanker
Oh, hi sunshine! When you’re done with today’s weepy episode, can you make me a sandwich? After that, it’s off to your rest-cure in Provence. Yay!

I wonder what tom watt, arsehole wenger, kroenke and ivan would think of the concept of us fans only paying a price for match tickets that we think they are worth :hmmthink: I am damn sure we would have change out of 20 quid for most matches    :banghead:

153 pages and we've signed two players, one of which is a complete unknown.

Just 10 days until the start of the prem and we have:

No left back

No new centre backs

No number 1 goalkeeper

No idea if Nasri will still be here next season

No idea if Fabregas will be here next season

No club captain

Still dead wood on the payroll in the likes of Almunia and Bendtner

Highest ticket prices in the league

Fans are as angry as they've been in many years - unsurprisingly

An owner who still hasn't outlined his vision for the club

And the media wonder why we're seriously fucked off :banghead:

We actually don't have a hope in hell this season. We have no chance whatsoever of winning the Premier League and if we manage a top four finish it will be through our rivals being shite.

This is Wenger's last year at the helm, discontent was spreading quickly last season and it won't take long this year for the discontent to return. A whole season of it is simply inconceivable for the club - they can't afford to have empty seats.

Just to cheer you all up .

Arsenal target Juan Manuel Mata is staying at Valencia, according to the club's manager Unai Emery.

The Spain international has been linked with a move to the Gunners as a possible replacement for Cesc Fabregas and it was even rumoured he was present at the Emirates Cup over the weekend.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has admitted an interest in the midfielder and Mata's father, Juan Manuel Mata Rodriguez, who is also his agent, has claimed Arsenal have had their first bid dismissed by Valencia.

And now Emery has insisted the player is staying with the La Liga side, despite the interest from north London, and made the 23-year-old captain for Tuesday night's friendly over Hamburg.

"Mata has gone through a process of doubts about his future," Emery said after the winger scored Valencia's first goal in a 2-1 victory over their Bundesliga opponents.

"But now we all believe he will stay at Valencia."

If Mata is as good as Wenger thinks he is we should be just buying him anyway...it's not like he's going to bankrupt us..If Wenger is waiting for money from the Cesc deal to pay for Mata that would be ridiculous, but if it's true Wenger is holding off on the Cahill deal until he gets the Cesc money then things have hit an all time f*cking low...

We are desperate for a decent centre half regardless of whether Cesc or anyone else stays or goes... We have all that cash in the bank just piling up year on year, we have a desperate need to improve the squad and this f*cker is still concerning himself with making sure he makes a profit on his transfer dealings

IMO Wenger is deliberately sabotaging the Club now. His decisions for the last few years make no logical sense.... Dross on massive wages, top players allowed to run their contracts down, shopping in the bargain basement, a preference time and time again for young unproven french / african players in a lot of instances. Just in the past month - Nasri to go on a free, Cesc to go just before 31st August, no new defensive reinforcements. He is playing a twisted and sick game with the fans in the transfer windows- raising our hopes and then dashing them year after year. He has ruined the Club's reputation with other sides by putting in derisory bids for their players. He has also insulted most of the Premier League - Man City, Chelsea, Stoke, Hull (relegated now) etc. The man is simply destroying all of the good that he has done. He takes the moral high ground on finances, whilst being paid £7m per year..........

Is it spite? Is it because of a spat with the Board? Is it ego? Does he feel that he wants to return us to what he inherited as he doesn't feel appreciated enough by the fans? I don't know the answer. What I do know, however, is that what started as questions about his ability as a manager, are now moving on to questions about his integrity and his motives. There are too many strange decisions being made, too many lies, and too many stories.

Something is not right.

We have never spoken before. But I have the following to add to my theory...

"I believe that BrazilianGOONER is a stooge for Wenger. If you cannot prove my theory wrong, who are you to laugh at me?" *

franksav63 wrote: There's no way 3-4 of this present squad would make the invincibles, who do you think they are anyway? I think only Cesc would make THE SQUAD, and that's it.
I think

Sagna
Vermaelen
Song
Wilshere
Cesc
Ramsey
RvP
Walcott
Arshavin

would all make the Invincibles squad.

The squad included

Cygan
Aliadiere
Jerome Thomas
Jeffers
Van Bronkhorst
Tavliridis

Frank I'm beginning to wonder as well mate. I just don't see ANY logical basis to so much of what he has done.
