Martin hijacks numerous threads with huge 10000 word posts basically repeating the same thing over and over. Totally different to posting smaller posts or interupting a thread with a gag or two. That - most people can tolerate, and this forum is known for its random nature.

Now if someone was hijacking multiple threads with massive 10000 word anti Wengerist bile that was constantly repetative then that too would be a problem. Do you see? Is that clear enough?

Let me just add to this by saying that Martin, along with any other poster, be they pro or anti-Wenger, can post whatever they like. As far as I know, no one has ever had a post removed which wasn't politically incorrect in some way.

The difference between USM and your most hardened anti-Wenger poster is the thread hijacking and the constant insinuation that, because you don't agree with him, that you mustn't be a true Arsenal fan.

Let me clarify what I mean by thread hijacking before some people get their knickers in a twist/panties in a bunch;

If someone appears on a thread and posts something completely unrelated, that is annoying, but is not hijacking - because it can easily be ignored. No big deal. If someone, however, posts a very long, almost always incoherent post on a completely unrelated topic again, and again, and again, and again, and again until the original topic has drowned in his/her agenda, then that is hijacking.

That is the last I will post on this matter. I've spent far too many hours reading and replying to PMs and messages on this board for my liking. This whole situation has gone beyond ridiculous now.

The reason this sticky won't work is that Marty has built an identity for years as the prophet of truth regarding the custodians. His moment passed when they sold up and rather than say I told you so, fuck you guys; he chose to be obsessive about his now redundant argument.

Sadly this is so true.

He was spot on with his 'theory' for years, although it couldn't be proved.

Then he was proved correct, as the Board sold out.

I can't quite work out now what happened then, as he should just have taken the applause and left the building, but sadly there is now an encore - without any content.

Also my first and last post in this thread - until some new evidence appears.

But it's not like most of us didn't know they would eventually do that. And anyway, if a bunch of rich business people want to sell their private shares to other rich people, what the hell were we supposed to do about it? This is the thing that I've tried in the past to get across to Martin.

Yes we could have had a letter writing campaign or protests outside and inside the ground (as there were when the old North Bank was knocked down and I'm sure when the idea of leaving Highbury was first mooted) and that worked out well, didn't it?

Ultimately, and this is the crucial point that Martin just has to accept, what could we really have done about it all? The answer is 'the square root of fuck all' for the reasons given above!! Despite the unfairness of it all and horrible as it is to admit, it's 'their' club in the strictest sense of the word. We're 'just' fans and have little impact on the decisions they make, be it the Board or Wenger himself.

Although to be fair to Martin, that's my feeling on the whole fucking thing - including those who participate in continually winding him up!!

Therefore I've decide to wash my hands of the whole thing because as boring as my life might be, it's not that fucking boring that I want to spend most of my time monitoring school-boy like behaviour!!!

So, all of you can carry on as you want to and I'll leave it up to the other mods to do something about it (for a change) if they want or can be bothered.
