According to ssn text the latest offer from barca was 25m plus 5m in future add-ons whilst cesc is also believed to be putting in 2.5m of his own money to help faciliate the deal

Kronke has flown over ( that's nice of him) to congratulate Wenger on his shrewed transfer dealings this summer!! Stan and Arsene will divvy up the latest profits then he's on the next flight home.... :evil:

No more taking the piss than our leader Wenger did when he bid the same amount for Schwartzer a month after a failed bid and Jagielka recently. Taking the piss doesnt just work one way

I know what you mean but we are talking about a top top player here. He's amongst the best midfielders in the world. A full international world cup winner.

Plus Fulham and Everton haven't sold us those players. I'm happy if we don't sell him at all then.

Barca IMO still hold a grudge because we nicked Cesc from them. I'm sure of it! They think he's owed to them.

FFS , why don't we say 40 mill or piss off ( and that is 40mill by Monday),

if not keep him , take away the armband because there is no loyalty there.

But if what they are offering is true they are taking the piss , god i hate them.

I would rather we sold him to Real Madrid just to piss them off

I can see what youre saying but Jagielka for example is important to Everton and a purchase is a purchase. We cant moan about piss take offers when our own club does exactly that
