Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Gazidas is to meet Barca officials today to sort this thing out
Let's hope this is finished once and for all today or as soon as possible.

I wouldn't even accept 40m for him, if Ronaldo can go for the ridiculous price of 80m, and Messi if he ever leaves those *word censored*, he'd probably got for 100 or more, then Fabregas is worth 65m. One of the best central midfielders in the world and you're talking about 40m? Yeah alright

Thank god we're sending our chief deal maker. What could possibly go wrong in the safe hands of Ivan :cussing:

On a serious level I am saying (again) that if cesc will only leave for barca then he will be an Arsenal player next season 8) Barca are not gonna pay a fair price and we all know that so those of you that have issues with cesc now are gonna have to deal with them cos he aint going anywhere :barscarf:

I agree. I said the same about him and Nasri recently. Both are going nowhere. I'm glad Arsenal are playing hard ball.

Barca ain't all of a sudden going to up the bid by about £10M. Unless they offer Xavi or someone :D :D

We should throw Gazidis in as part of the deal.

Very true. I think he's going to be with us next season but the question at the back of my mind is how committed he will be, and how many games will he play :?

The club should now tell barca to fuck off, they have been told numerous time what the price is.

That's what's different than our piss take offers for other players. We don't go back every week offering a further £50 to the price in the hope that will seal the deal. We tend to walk away if we can't get them for the price we want to pay.

£40M or nothing boys!
