? Maybe be true ?.

Could it be that the reason why Barcelona are taking so long to make their proper move for Cesc Fabregas is because he is still injured? More or less a total crock since February, Fabregas is surely in no fit state to currently pass a medical. His ongoing and unhealed hamstring injury is seemingly becoming chronic.
Which is presumably also a reason why Barca are in no mood to pay more than £35m for their former prodigy. And should also be a reason for Arsenal to sell. Firstly, because Fabregas has only managed 70 starts since the start of 2008/09, and secondly because it's horribly apparent that his career could reach a very premature end if he stays in north London. Arsenal have had no adequate answer to any of the six or so different hamstring injuries he's endured in the last two years and it may be that only a warmer climate can fix him. And if you think that sounds a little silly, well, the Spanish climate was the first answer proffered by Sir Alex last March when he was asked why he thought that Barca's big three - Messi, Iniesta, and Xavi - missed so very few games.

For the love of god, just let him go. It's not worth the aggro, or quibbling about £5m difference when we could be getting on with rebuilding. He's done enough for us, show him a bit of mercy, instead of holding him as a hostage. Wenger won't even spend the money he has, why does he need to extract every last penny for a player who has given us years of great service? It's become a matter of ego for Wenger. And while you're at it take the dosh for Nasri, who is not as great as he thinks he is, and then spend the near £60m on some great players. Sorted. All this fannying about is very destructive and not in the long term interests of the club. Just get on with it.

This could all be solved by one thing happening, a transfer request. This would then mean that AFC wouldn't have to pay Fabregas compensation for the remainder of his contract which it's suggested is £4m+. This would then mean that they could move a bit more towards Barcelona's figure. However we should still hold out for a minimum of £35m
If he really loves both clubs as Wenger says he does then he could put in the request and end this bastard saga
