The Seagulls have landed

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Brighton is the gay capital of Europe. A warm welcome awaits all ladyboys. 8) :D

wow, the team support is made of homossexuals and old farts? now that is one weird set of fans!
Great thing about Brighton fans, they will go to places like Millwall, pretend to gay, hold hands, and blow kisses at the locals. Fucking brilliant wind up! :D

Saturday is Seagull Day.

I have corporate hospitality at the brand new stadium. For the very first league match there. Got the menu through today. Chicken liver somethingposh, lamb shank with shallot mash spuds, white chocolate and orange cheesecake (no fucking prawns, wtf?) and as much beer as I can drink. Pies at halftime (that's a nice touch  ) with more beer. And pastries and beer after the match.

All for the modest price of zero pennies. Although it will cost me a fiver for the train :x

That would be great. You thinking of an evening match? Or a weekend when Arsenal are playing away?

It won't be a corporate hospitality job. I'll get that twice a year if I'm lucky. I'll probably be going again sometime in september. I'll pm you when I've checked the Arsenal and Brighton fixture lists + ticket availability.

It was a great day out. Followed by a boozy evening. :D

Sounds like you had a good day mate!!!
I also intend to get a game in at their new stadium, and will probably make a long weekend of it,to catch up with a few mates in Brighton and Lewes.
Also,(proving how anally retentive football fans can be-cue KingJayson!),I recently found the "Evening Argus" supplement that they did for the last game at The Goldstone. It was just the usual 4 pager that they stuck in the middle of the paper. It was alongside the one that they did when The Tour De France did a stage or two through Sussex, finishing in Brighton. They called it "Le Tour."
