He is going nowhere. If we lose our first 6 games all 4-0 i can hear Hill-Wood telling everyone the club believes Wenger is the right man to get the us out of this mess...... Accept it Wenger is going nowhere till his contract run out in 4 yearsgoonersid wrote:A clge exit and a poor start to the prem campaign (both of which I think will happen) will see Wenger clinging on, and eventually losing his grip by the end of October.
I will have the day off work and get pissed, then celebrate his departure like I would celebrate a trophy win. Simply because his leaving will be the best thing that has happened to our club since we last won something.
Goodbye and good fucking riddance to this geriatric dictator who has long overstayed his welcome.
Will Wenger last the season?

I am basing this on my belief that our start to the season will our worst in my living memory.
This bunch of chuckers will down tools big time just as they did at the end of last season. It will become apparent even to Wenger that he has lost his players.
Yes!! Why? Because a new manager (no matter who that might be)would not tolerate the lack of effort and discipline we have seen over the last 5 seasons. And with a bit of luck we might actually get a manager who has some tactical nous and plays players in their best positions.kiwomya wrote:OK, so he get's the sack mid season - what will that do? the new manager will just have the same players that Wenger does. Do you all think someone could do it better with exactly the same squad?

even before a ball has been kicked we can see the inevitable.just suppose he blags it in the opening trials, pretty soon the deficiencies will show and it'll be groundhog day all over again,"mental strengh /young side/bedding in/injuries/no value in the transfer window/thought we had a deal with at least 36 targets, but left it too late".
at this point" and i mean this sincerely folks"i'd take virtually any other prem or foriegn manager over this basket case.but it aint gonna happen.do any of you think that deins comments at the weekend were off the cuff and purely coincidental, what spectacular timeing, just what you would expect from a master puppeteer

There's a issue for one, 4 years left on a agreement that brings him 6.5.M per year!!! He definitely won't be sacked and certainly will not walk away, this season anyhow.flash gunner wrote:He is going nowhere. It's whether he has any disillusions to whether he ought to stay or not? Probably not, he making the club money in these tight times( for the rest of us anyhow!!).
