Eduardo: Update!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

EDUARDO UNDERGOES SURGERY

Eduardo underwent surgery in hospital on Saturday and is currently resting.

Everyone at Arsenal Football Club would like to wish him a speedy recovery
As we all do!

Well, its whats called a greenstick fracture If I remeber my GCSE PE.
It will need to have been a clean break if its too revover fully. And it will be difficult to get the bone to set right, but he's in good hands.
Im optimistic.
Its how he will get over the mental barrier that im worried about.

Diaby took a tremendous amount of faith and belief from his injury. I understand it wasnt quite as bad but savage nonetheless and i believe since then it has toughened him to a great level

All the best Dudu and I mean that. Get well soon. You are too good to let this injury damage your career. Come back soon mate.

This is true.
I believe there's is two ways to go,
Either, Let it toughen you up, '''what dont kill ya....'' sort of thing.

Or It will always be in the back of his mind when he's goin into a challange or runnin with the ball.

But I think Eduardo will react in a similar fashion to Diaby.

I think he'll be back playing by xmas.

man how i hope your right. I think this could translate into the team for the rest of this season too. Is it going to ignite a fire in the players. To do everything in their power to bring that title back where it belongs in the name of Eddy and all that is good or is it going to linger and destroy their confidence and their belief particulary when it comes to those 50/50 situations. I hope its the 1st
