It really is just degrees of petulance anymore with these namby pamby footballers - i have not seen any case over transfer wranglings in the last few years with the money involved that would give me cause to have sympathy with them.
If i was working in a firm and constantly whinging to my boss that a rival firm employed all my mates, my mates are always telling me how wonderful it is to work there and how well they are doing, my boss would soon tell me to remember who i worked for and shut the fuck up or get sacked, no matter how important i was to the firm. Mind you, if i was getting a shed load of money each week for doing fuck all i would have the good sense to keep me gob shut.
But then i also think we give these fuckwits of footballers too much credit in the IQ stakes. Way too many of them are greedy selfish little bastards.

Reading this thread it sounds like pretty much everyone is thoroughly pissed off with the Cesc & Nasri sagas.
Lets not forget though that there is 1 man primarily to blame for the ridiculous situation we find ourselves in :-
Arsene Wenger!!
He has far too much power at the Club; no-one seems able (or willing) to challenge him; we are drifting further and further backwards from where we were in 2004.
I hope and pray that enough fans grow some bollocks this season and let Wenger know during and after matches that this is not good enough - nowhere near bloody good enough!!

This mother fucker is confused.
I have speed read the last few pages and got the following jist.
Fabregas should go. He won't be classed in the same bracket as other Arsenal legends. He isn't really that good anyway.
The price of £30-£35 million is not enough for Fabregas.
Surely it's a bargain of a price for a player who is over rated and is off to sit on the Barca bench?
The reality is this.
Fabregas is a wonderful player who will fit very easily into the Barcelona side and won't look out of place in their full strength side. He was the most talented individual I have seen in my lifetime to come through at Arsenal from such a young age.
As Steveo pointed out about looking back on the midfield. I think this will be very much sooner rather than later, in fact probably after the 3rd game of the season.
Wilshere is good, will be great. Ramsey has shown he can be a fine player. Neither now are good enough to take on the responsibility of running the whole game and they will struggle against the better sides in the league even when teaming up.
I can't believe we have had to wait till the season has nearly begun for this to reach conclusion. It has to be the worst management I have ever seen from any club in any league. Ever.
Had we not been in any other turmoil, heads should be fucking rolling for this one alone. Added to the shit we're already in, people should be taken away and never allowed to work in football again.

I for one will be glad to see the back of him. Great footballer and I would prefer him to stay but it's so obvious he wants to leave to as I said, I'll be glad to see the back of him.
I have no sympathy for him and what he might have been going through, wanting back to his home land. He signed the contract so tuff shit. Remember, Arsenal had a big hand in making him the great player he is, so why shouldn't they hold out for maximum ££££££. Just because Barca are in poor financial helth. Well I don't give a shit about them.
Talking of that arse holes, when will Fifa do somthing about the tapping up and unrest they caused. Freeze, hell, over
Nasri, £20m plus. take the money and replace him right away.
Arsene needs to rebuild the entire team. Not keep buying teenagers no matter there promise.
That is the root of the problem and nothing is being done on that front.
A bit of a rant and I'm not reading over my post so sorry for spelling etc.

To be fair a lot of things have been said about Cesc , but whatever you say he obviously does love arsenal, and we all knew he would go back to barca one day, and this happens to be that day. So I don’t get Some quarters on this site and other forums calling him a *word censored*, mercenary and whore etc and saying he can fuck off to warm barca’s bench.
What exactly has he done wrong exactly? I work in recruitment so to put it into context, He is in a dead end job with no prospects (trophies), his boss promoted him to a manager to keep hold of him but then continuously lied to him about further investment at his company, so now he cant see anything improving so has decided to move onto pastures new. He has been offered the opportunity of a life time with the market leading company and a pay rise to boot. What a bastard.
The only foot he has put wrong for me was when he went to the Spanish Grand Prix instead of the cottage for the final game of the season, but there you go. His only other crime was that he wasn’t a great captain as he simply just doesn’t have that in-built leadership quality and sheer grit that you could find in Adams, Vieira, Keane etc. But again how can you accuse him of being a shit captain as I’m sure he didn’t ask to be captain, le Boss thrust that upon him last year in a desperate attempt to keep him.
Other then that he has been a fantastic servant to the club, one of the best midfielders I have ever seen in the modern game, and although I agree not a true Arsenal legend, I will always be left wondering what could have been if he had played in a better Arsenal team instead of the usual suspects like Diaby, Denilson, barry et al.
I for one wish him all the best at Barca and just hope for the love of God the money we get for him is spent within the next 48 hours.
