So as the new season is about to start i thought id set up a betting thread for those of us that place football bets, its a way of adding some excitement to the football season as im sure a few are getting annoyed before its even started.
So what are peoples bets for Saturday (13th August)......
Ive only looked at the premiership so far and noticed that only 1 team is odda against which is Liverpool so there is some money to be made.
I like the look of:
qpr v BOLTON @ 21/10
WIGAN v norwich @ 6/5
newcastle v ARSENAL @ 21/20 (i know there will be doubters)
I havent had a look at the Championship, League 1 or 2 yet but will later to put together some 7-8 team accumulators (hopefully i can find a 420/1 like i did in March).
So lets use this thread to give our thoughts/predictions to help each other out and hopefully make some money!!

Not had a bet in about 6 years, but having £40 on this, he will be gone by the end of october. The winnings wil go towards my day off work to celebrate.
Would you think is a stupid idea to back arsenal away at newcastle tomorrow?
I think even though we have a few players out we should surely be good enough to beat these, with them selling Nolan i can really see them struggling!!
I've got a tenner on Steve Stricker EW. At 28/1 in the PGA golf, also have a fiver each way on D.A Points in the golf at 300/1.
Will probably leave the footy this weekend as the results often tend to be a bit freaky on opening weekend.
