WILL CESC GO DOWN AS AN ARSENAL LEGEND???

One of the best midfield players we've ever had. But an Arsenal legend? No.

The only present player who would have got into the Invicible team.

He's up there with the all-time greats. He deserved better but our clown of a manager didnt bring in quality players to play alongside him.The same as Chippy a brilliant player who leaves with just one winners medal

Can't disagree with that. Doesn't make him a legend though. Legends win trophies, regardless of how shit their team mates and manager are.

No.

Had he stayed here until he was in his 30s, then undoubtedly.

But instead, he will be remembered as a classy, talented player who did not win anything while here - not really a fault of his own - who departed far earlier than we might have been led to believe at first.

+1

I think AW screwed him over by letting him carry the dross that we call a team :banghead:

Not a legend, just one of the best players from this very poor arsenal squad. TeeCee summed it up quite well I think.

I know this quote is taken out of context, but look at it....

Hindsight is always a great perception. When Cesc was at his best, even I would have turned "tennis clubbish" for him(calm down KingJ  ). I felt even though he never accomplished much with our club, he always gave his all(because that's all you can ask of players). I salute him for that. I will miss him. We all knew he would go back to Barcelona. :barscarf:

PS: I too would pay good money to get out of this current Arsenal team  thanks to Arsene Wenger
