Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sneijder joining Friday
Flash, I think you're spot on mate, I heard something similar....

Thijs Sneijder, a 17yo Dutch central midfielder from NAC Breda. Played for the Dutch under 5's early in his career, very promising, available for just 12m up front. He's 5ft 2" tall and weighs 6st 5lbs so he's nippy, light on his feet with a low centre of gravity and will make Arshavin much more confident with his height so it's win win.
Deal expected to go through on Friday as you say...... :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: 8)

Berbatov is too much of a luxury player in my opinion, I'd be furious watching him if he had one of those days when he looks completely disinterested.
Yeah I agree with you there. Everyone slates Darren Bent but if he can score 20 goals a season at Charlton, Sunderland and Aston Villa, can you imagine how many he would score with the amount of chances we create?
Yes about 20 goals. He would never finish a game, start to lose confidence them get dropped. But i'd still rather have him at the club than vela and bendtner.

Transfer Rumours????

The only rumours we hear are our players wanting to go elsewhere. No fucking stories about players wanting to come to Arsenal!!

Good interview by Tim Payton, didn't let the idiot interviewer media twat get one over on him :barscarf:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14532152.stm

Just saw photograph/s of fabregas 'kissing' the barcawhores badge already.....now THAT is CUNTISH....

The ONLY reason he gave up his £5mill loyalty Bonus (loylty!? don't make me laugh the cheeky lying twat!) was because AW said we cannot accept less than £35 mill - even though he was angling for £45 mill.....Barcawhores have demonstrated their Total lack of Class in the past 2 seasons regarding their Tapping Up of Cesc, he should have turned them down on that principle alone....still he is one of theirs so maybe that's asking him to be dis-loyal...Ah! hold on though...wasn't he going on about loyalty and his 'Love' for Arsenal and the fans and manager last year!? C U N T

Sergio Aguero = Prime example of what happens when you spend money.

Yes man citeh spent £38 million on him. But:

- Top quality striker coming into the prime of his career
- Fans absolutely buzzing/Feelgood factor
- Two quality goals which create headlines in the papers - positive press
- Sponsorship deals for club & player
- Goals which win you titles, competitions -> Prize money for the club, happy fans, happy sponsors
- Commercial revenue for club, shirt sales etc.

So yes you outlay £38 million, but you get that money back in so many other ways other than just "buying a player".

World class players win you games, which win you trophies, which makes you money.

Why does nobody at Arsenal see that?
 :(
