The New Gooner Magazine

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm sorry but as you haven't worked a day in magazine production you know nothing and your opinion means nothing so just pay your £2.00 and shut up

Although you are wrong because I have, albeit a long time ago; :mooner: :mooner:

I do, albeit not everything; :teeth: :teeth:

and it does, though probably not as much as I'd like!!.

As for actually paying for it... :coffeespit: :coffeespit:

This seems an appropriate thread on which to plug the latest issue and remind people that it is available by mail order from our online store priced just £2 plus postage.

Its a little concerning that the most popular response to the vote so far has been that people didn't even realise the fanzine existed. I'm hoping those are tongue in cheek responses!

It's worth remembering that without the fanzine, this forum wouldn't actually exist, so every issue you buy will help the forum survive a bit longer! Now if that doesn't make you all feel guilty, I don't know what will!

I find it incredible that people might not realise that this website is backed by the fanzine.
If you are not aware of it, buy a copy of it today, wherever you live and maybe you will find time to appreciate how much work goes into both the fanzine and the website. Its a labour of love, not a chance to get freebies off of the club

Our club needs support more than ever right now, singing "spend some fucking money" as the very talented Frimpong enters the field will have killed his confidence, if we had done that to Cesc 8 years ago or ramsay, who knows where they would be now

There's a time and a place for (hopefully intelligent) criticism and the Gooner is one of them

If that's from the poll, I think it's a bit tongue in cheek from some people on here - not me of course

It's a fair point re Frimpong...but then 8 years ago there would not have been much thought that attention from properly addressing the teams weaknesses were being diverted by the Manager/board/both for whatever reasons, as you feel appropriate.

i have just renewed my The Gooner subscription! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

btw, am i still the only one in brazil? i've been trying to convince the tight fisted bastards at Arsenal Brazil to subscribe too, but to be fair it's expensive for those who earn brazilian reais. there's also the fact that most people on the SC don't speak english (which is a bit bizarre imo since they support an english team, but there you go...)

We now have two subscribers in Brazil and it's great to know the fanzine is so widely read. At the last count, it is sent to 28 countries around the globe, so if you're reading this overseas and are not already a subscriber, why not give it a go?

always liked the english culture and language mate, always loved to study it. also a great fan of music and movies, which is why my english sounds a bit more american than british unfortunately.

also my dad thought it would be important for me to be fluent in english for my professional career, so he put me on a language school when i was still a kid. i studied english for about 3 years there.

i'd love to swap languages and never speak portuguese again to be honest. latin languages are a big pain in the ass.

What are the chances that it's Denilson? Perhaps he subscribes in order to keep with what his massive gooner fan base are saying? :?

Either that or you've mistakenly subscribed twice!!

Wouldn't agree with that, I prefer speaking Spanish to English, it's a much nicer language 8)
