Jenkinson shows how much the mighty have fallen!!!
Jenkinson shows how much the mighty have fallen!!!
Let's be honest the lad looked out of his depth against Udinese. Wenger signs him from Charlton where he played 9 games. He was on loan at Eastbourne Borough of the Conference before being recalled for the Johnstone Paints trophy against Brentford!! What on earth is he doing playing him out of position in the CL. Have we got no one else? Does Wenger think that due to his superior training methods the lad will develop significantly enough in the pre-season games that he is now ready to play in the CL or Premiership? I have nothing against the lad but surely idf he send kids like Lansbury out to Norwich and Vela, a Mexican international, to other teams why the hell is he playing Jenkinson. The squad is paper thin now and this is an example of how Wenger is scraping the barrel!!!

Said the same and that one time he was caught out I thought he recovered well.MK Gould wrote:Amazing how people view the same thing differently!
We were sat near the corner flag so had a perfect view of the guy, and came away saying how well we thought he had done. I thought he was caught out once but other than that performed really well.
Feel sorry for the lad think everybody has been on his back since day one because he is not a "name". People forget that he is the replacement for Eboue and I would rather have Jenkinson playing as emergency cover at left back than that clown. Mind you it shouldnt even be coming to that... Gibbs injured again

Same here, after being roasted straight after coming on i thought he settled and played quite well considering how much udinese were targeting him.MK Gould wrote:Amazing how people view the same thing differently!
