BACKING ARSENE

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

BACKING ARSENE

Post by SPUDMASHER »

Arsene is going to put his neck on the line by compiling a video showing alleged bias against us. Once again the vocal backing from the club is deafening in its silence.

We all see the injustice, Adebayor innocent but suspended anyway, Fat Lampard gets only a yellow for being the most aggressive person in the melee. I bet when it comes to the fines that the FA dish out we will be hit hardest.

Lets get behind the boss and tell the board that we want them to openly support the man that has changed the future of our club. Be vocal at the remaining games this season and leave the club in no doubt about how we feel.

totally agree Spudmasher If only 60,000 fans would actually open their mouths to sing instead of filling their mouths with food and let the boss know we are 100% behind him.Sing up prawn sandwich brigade.

Todays standard has compiled a list of the fouls to card ratio and guess what Arsenal are being punished to harshly. Top of the list with a measly 5.45 fouls per yellow. Here is the list in full:

Arsenal - Fouls 240 Yellows 44 Av. Fouls per card 5.45
Newcastle - Fouls 346 Yellows 56 Fouls per card 6.17
Blackburn - Fouls 382 Yellows 61 Fouls per card 6.26
West Ham - Fouls 382 Yellows 59 Fouls per card 6.47
Bolton - Fouls 382 Yellows 59 Fouls per card 6.47
Wigan - Fouls 352 Yellows 52 Fouls per card 6.76
Sheffield Utd - Fouls 329 Yellows 47 Fouls per card 7.00
Charlton - Fouls 318 Yellows 44 Fouls per card 7.22
Boro' - Fouls 365 Yellows 49 Fouls per card 7.44
Manure - Fouls 307 Yellows 40 Fouls per card 7.67
Fulham - 367, 47, 7.80
Spurs - 320, 39, 8.20
Everton - 402,48, 8.37
Man City - 381, 40, 9.52
Pompey - 366, 37, 9.89
Reading - 296, 29, 10.20
Aston Villa - 362, 33, 10.96
Watford - 397, 36, 11.02
Liverpool - 327, 29 11.27

(Got bored half way through)
The stats don't lie. The F.A and press will have us believe it is down to the type of foul commited but that is bollocks we have been screwed over time and again and it must stop now. How can we be the least dirty side in the league but then get booked every 5 and a half fouls. The F.A need to sort it out now. Stop punishing us for playing properly and clamp down on the thugs ruining the game with their synical shirt pulling every time we go clean through and stop booking Gilberto for a genuine tackle.

End of Rant........For now

I agree but the best way to shove it back down their throats is to win!!! We have enough chances to win games but are just not clinical enough! We need to stop making excuses and win. Then we can moan afterwards.

Proof if it was ever needed that Spudmasher is fully involved in the AKB!

I would go as far to say he is a fully paid up senior member.

I got so confused when I read this first post of the the thread. I didn't understand how someones was backing Wenger so openly and then people were actually agreeing

Then I saw the date....
