Thierry Henry has agreed to leave Arsenal and join Barcelona in a deal worth €24m (£16.2m). The transfer, although trailed for such a long time, will create a seismic shock in European football.
Unless there is a complete U-turn, Henry is due to be presented as a Barça player on Monday. A four-year deal has been agreed, with the 29-year-old being paid €10m a year, a small increase on his £6m-a-season salary at Arsenal.
