It has to be our name 'The Arsenal'

When I was young one of my west ham supporting mates asked me why gooners refer to our club as the Arsenal. I replied that I didn't know why but we do.
He said that his arsenal supporting Dad's chest would pump out with pride when he says the name.
That conversation stayed with me.
No matter how shite we are playing when I am asked who I support I always feel proud to say 'The Arsenal'

I like the fact that I can join up with the chaps every few weeks for a few G&Ts and have a jolly old read of my newspaper whilst occassionally watching some footyball from my box.
