Would it be possible to have another one of these threads for the new season? The main footy chat won't get clogged with talk of streams and people looking for a stream won't have to look through the entire match thread

I'm am sure you guys are up to speed, but if anyone needs help with Sopcast, veetle etc then PM me

Just a quick tip. Spocast runs better if you route it through VLC media player, its real simple to do to (and you can resize the screen to whatever you want.

The following I stole without shame from the Myp2p forums.....

Open Sopcast, and go to Options (at the bottom --> Option)
* Choose the external player
* Use my Own Media Player
* Select there VLC.exe (tip: search for VLC on your pc --> in the folder/map there you can select the VLC icon)
* Standard is C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe

Accept this, and restart Sopcast. Yet you can easy open it in the external VLC player.

The following may help the smoothness of your stream in VLC

â€¢Open VLC
â€¢From the VLC Menu select Tools
â€¢From the drop down menu select Preferences
â€¢From the menu on the left side select Video
â€¢In the display section uncheck the following two options:

Advanced Video Output (Overlay)
Use Hardware YUV->RGB Conversions

â€¢When they are unchecked, click Save.

Then close and restart VLC.

DEAR MODS,

Any chance of re-stickying the streaming thread from last season - there were some very good live streaming links on the thread, I've looked for it but it's a bit like a needle in a hay stack, and thought Mods might access to ways of looking for past threads etc
