A few observations on today:

we were never going to score
we are as weak up front as we are in defence and midfield
Walcott is utterly, utterly hopeless
Arshavin is worse
Jenkinson is not up to it yet but that is not his fault, it is Wenger's for exposing him in games like this
Song was not missed (even though we lost)
The flat earth brigade did their best to drown out the 'Spend some moneyâ€™ chanting
It is a shambles that we have to play two players who don't want to be at the Club
Wenger has all the excuses he needs for losing under â€˜special circumstancesâ€™ (the sending off)
Wenger becomes more of an embarrassment with every word he utters
we are in big, big trouble
nothing will change

Watched the game today in the Mercantile Hotel, Dublin with the Arsenal Dublin Supporters Club. Highlight by a distance was the sausage and chips in baskets laid on post match!

Vermalen MOTM for me, although would have been Frimpong if he hadn't been so stupid.

I think a lot of the media are misinterpreting the fans. The atmosphere was great today, but it was support for the team, the XI players pulling on the red and white. Am surprised about the one arsene wenger chant.

The manager and the board have let us, and the current crop, down.

I'd agree with that. The support for the team was, on the whole, excellent today. There were several players out there, who to be honest probably weren't ready for such a game, yet it was not their fault they were out there but the manager instead...
