Good signing for them as I'm sure Torres will benefit from it.

Is Dann good enough? Yes, we only have 2 good centre backs, if he keeps Djourou and Squillaci out of the side then it can only be good, Miquel is too lightweight, he should not be an option yet.

Arsène Wenger has responded to Arsenal's troubled start to the season by making a bid for the Rennes holding midfielder Yann M'Vila. The manager's attempt to strengthen his team came as hopes grew that Jack Wilshere will return from ankle trouble to face Udinese in Wednesday's pivotal Champions League play-off second leg.

M'Vila, who has established himself as a regular in the France team, would cost £12m. The 21-year-old is under contract until 2015 but Rennes have allowed Wenger to talk to him. Arsenal's manager also has an interest in Sochaux's attacking midfielder Marvin Martin.

Surely we should be exploiting Evertons precarious financial position.

How about a triple bid of £50M for Baines, Jagielka and either Cahill or Arteta. Add Dann to that and I belive we might be getting somewhere near the squad we need.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made bids of £15m and more than £20m respectively for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila and Lille forward Eden Hazard. The Frenchman may also return to Everton with a fresh approach for defender Phil Jagielka.

I accept that he shouldnt be talking about signing nasri until he has actually signed nasri but every man, woman and child know that it is happening despite wenger's denial  Until football authorities show a willingness to take action against clubs behaving like this then the likes of barca will always carry on this way
