Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

And what... end up with Nasri demotivated on the pitch / on the bench, losing out on £20m?? We lose that money, we get even less to spend on the team.

If we play the mercenary *word censored* then we are bigger fools than even I thought possible  No club will want to buy him if he is cup tied for europe so if we play him we lose out on a 22m transfer fee and we will be allowing him to walk away for free next summer :x

All that being said the onus is on citteh to get the deal completed today. Is it reasonable to expect us not to play him if they havent completed the deal ? They are right in not wanting him to play of course but if the hold up is between them and nasri's agents then between them they need to sort it out and fast cos if he wants out and they want to buy him then they need to concede some ground and meet in the middle

But he's a key player and needed in this type of game. Should we do well and qualify (or for him to score) it would benifit us by about £25M.....worth missing the fee. (file under 'Wengerisum')

That kills the M'Vila link off Im afraid- we have NOT made any bid for this player.

All this stuff about M'Vila and Hazard is just speculation cooked up by the tabloids because we have "money" to spend.

The story was broken by the Mirror, the same tabloid that would have you believe that Sneijder is already a Man Utd player.....

The club has to come before players. We need a result on Wednesday more than anything right now! I'd rather have Nasri and be in the Champions League than have £25M and be playing in the fucking Europa League.

I'm still holding on to hope that qualifying for the CL will mean we can sign someone decent....

Granted boomer but wenger has allowed the situation to occur that see's us going into a crucial 8 days (inc scouse game last sat) with an absolute shit and thin squad so he cant really bleat about that now can he ? Why has he allowed it get to the point that a guy who wants out (nasri) is viewed as a key player ? Ridiculous situation

I was being slighty sarcastic...He'll probably keep Nasri and spin the claim that financially it was worth the keeping the player.

Bearing in mind it takes Wenger a month to tie up any deal, we are fucked, every which way!

I like(d?) Nasri but with Cesc gone we need more creativity
Hazard will make more chances for others than Nasri who is very direct
