UDINESE AWAY MATCH THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Have you looked in the For Sale section of the website?

Lots of people saying they want us to lose but the big reason I don't want us to lose is that if we do we're going to have all those sacred Saturday 3 'o clocks moved to Sunday afternoon and have to play on Thursday night which would be bloody annoying!

against Newcastle we kept the ball well till the final third
v Udinese 1st leg we played for 5 mins scored and sat back
v Liverpool we basically couldn't play football at all

priority has to be defence tomorrow

I think we will have Song + Frimpong both anchoring
Ramsay dropping pretty deep and RVP getting as close to him as pos
main attacking threats will be Theo and Gervinho on the counter

Theo v Liverpool was tragic but he has a great game every now and then
decent stats last year
Gervinho has a chance to justify his fee in one game

it's not impossible one of them does something on the counter
their pace gives a chance
*crosses fingers*

I think we could actually go through now.

RVP is back, Song and Frimpong will probably anchor in, Gerv and Theo (Theo gets a lot more space in Europe). I don't think its all doom and gloom for this. It'll be tough, but the midfield has to do its job tomorrow night. This was our biggest problem against them last week.

Best we can hope for is a 1-1 draw, so Wenger will surely stay with us this season, it would probably not be a blessing in dis.... :(
