Bendtner vs Chamakh
I know Bendnter hasn't exactly set the world alight, but I'd much rather him up front than Chamakh. First of all, Bendnter might still get better. Secondly I know what he does - he might not do it that well all the time - but Bendtner poses a threat. Thirdly Bendner is a player who doesnt lose confidence and look to pass the ball when he has a chance five yards out. Thats what we need now more than aything.
I cant imagine many defenders would rather face Bendnter than Chamakh.
I cant understand why Bendnter is being locked out of the club when he is our second best striker. Let's be honest - Chamakh is fucking useless. Honestly who would you fancy to nick a goal aginst Man Utd - Chamakh or Bendnter?

Neither of them are good enough. Bendtner had his only really productive spell at birminhgam - that says it all! On his good days he can be good but his bad days which are much more often, are absolutely awful. I genuinely don' know what has happened to Chamakh. He was never a world beater in the first place, but started off ok but since January he has been shocking! Never forget in the game v spuds us 2-0 up and him going through one-on-one and stopping to look for someone to pass to! Shoot you c*nt!
NB definitely. He is a genuinely good Centre Forward, the goal he scored away at Stoke last year was one nobody else could score in our squad. The problem is Arsene dumped him wide on the right for so much and now he wants to leave. It doesn't help that he is massively up himself and thinks he is gods gift to football, but technically he is better than Chamakh and will continue to get better, where as by the looks of things MC will continue to get worse.

Chamakh is a hollow man just now, nothing in him. He showed good promise at the start of last year but that faded away. I hope he won't be another Eduardo, someone who has real promise but never achives it.
As for Bendtner, he has plenty of self belief and thats about it. His second touch is normally a tackle and he just can not, not ever manage to take someone on. He stands in front of them hoping they move out his way. He just can't get past a player 1 on 1. He simply isn't near good enough. He has his chance.

Bendtner is a good player. He gets a lot of stick but the boy's record for his age is impressive and he always seems to score last minute important goals. I noticed that Jenkinson has a good cross in him but nobody can head in our team. Maybe with someone who can deliver with Nik up front we could do something
Bendtner is perfect.........as a 4th striker, if the other 3 are injured. Chamakh just doesn't offer anything, nothing at all! Both have all the control of an incontinent 90 year old. Both have the speed of an injured sloth and both carry the threat of a heavy cold.
What a fucking embarrassment that we have to call on either of them!
Barry B just edges it as slightly better shit than Chamakh.
