THE NORTHBANKBREN TV SHOW THREAD

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Damn, cant believe ive missed this thread. I'm a huge TV fan. My favorites are:

-Master Chef
-Dexter <---Named my dog after him
-True Blood
-Lost <---except the final 2 seasons
-Stargate: Universe (SGU)
-Entourage <---Funny and a cool look at hollywood.
-The Walking Dead
-Pawn Stars
-American Pickers
-The Deadliest Catch
-Dual Survival <---check this one out if you like survival shows. funny and cool.
-The Killing <---Great acting, great mystery.
-Modern Family
-Flight of the Concords
-Weeds
-The Office
-Kitchen Nightmares <--- I like Gordon Ramsey okay
-Spartacus: Blood and Sand/Gods of the Arena <--Sex, violence, blood n guts, and loads of nude women. Yes.
-Game of Thrones <---My current favorite show. Epic.

And then there's my all time favorite, Battlestar Galactica. I was hesitant at first because of the title, and it being made by SyFy, but it shocked me. Quality acting, effects, and a really good plot. I also like how the survivors deal with the same types of political dilemmas that we do here. Here's a trailer made with clips from just the first season.

Modern Family season 3 double episode premiere last night, funny as fuck. Gotta be the best sitcom on TV at the minute.

You know, I actually thought the first two episodes were way below the standard of the previous couple of series. They just weren't that funny. A couple of giggles here and there but no where near the brilliance of the first two series.

And that fucking stage school kid that is playing Lillie is making me want to break things, the irritating little bastard. How long before she has her own chat show? :banghead:

Anyone who isn't watching Breaking Bad needs to be. Only 2 episodes of season 4 left, hands down the best show on TV.

New American program on Showtime called Homeland. The first episode was very good and makes you want to see more. From the producers of 24.

top show that first time i have liked Bean in a film / show as well.

The little dwarf anti-hero so funny, and the conversations between the guy with no penis and the pimp is some really good writing

Several good series at the mo'

Sons of Anarchy 4 has started
Boardwalk Empire 2nd series has started
Burn Notice 5
Blue Bloods has just started a new series
Covert Affairs is pretty good
Deadliest Catch

Agree with others, The Shield was the best 'police' series ever!
