UDINESE AWAY MATCH THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Jenkinson was great. I've been very impressed with the guy since joining. He actually stays back!

Team really pulled together but our squad is so thin, we really need some signings now.

Was really proud of the way they played tonight. They showed real heart and desire for once.

Those that really stood out for me. Shez again top quality, Jenkinson was solid, frimpong solid and not rash, gerviniho best peformance so far always looking to create, and get forward but picked his passes and run far better, theo ran his socks off and always looks a threat when he runs through the middle. Van Persie was clinical, not his best game but got the goal and thats what he's there for.

Lets hope this win doesnt paper over the cracks in the squad, he needs to spend, now.

Theres another thread on the subject but the GICs interview after the game was peddling the same stuff- we already have "world class" players at the club and we musn't forget who we have to come back.

Slightly ominous

The Diaby mention was bizzare, surely even Wenger knows he's ALWAYS injured. Plus we all hate him.

Gotta say I've slagged Wenger off for his shortcomings and for having zero tactics but his change at half time seems to have changed the game and he deserves credit for that.

Having said that - thats his fucking job and he should be doing stuff like that more often. How many times have we seen Manure getting overun in the first half only for them to come out in the second half a much better cohesive team and win the game or get a draw. (Probably after a hairdrying from Fergusbum)

Also I dont agree with all the calls for Wenger to "spend some fucking money"

I dont want the crazy, lying bastard anywhere near "the fucking money"
Hope he resigns and soon. The sooner Wenger leaves the sooner the healing process begins and a new, fresh, positive, optimistic atmosphere will pervade the club. Then all this negativity will fade away

hey. best wishes for your CL, now!
you played better than us and deserved it.

(p.s. five banned people in our forum because of too much anger between pro-executives and against-executives sides. lol)

You should be proud of your team as they put up a good performance over the two legs and with a bit of fortune might have gone through instead of us. Good luck in this season's Serie A. 8)
