In the 1960's I went to West Ham v City with a W.Ham supporting mate of mine.
We were told that City fans were on their way to the Northbank. And were going to "take the place over".
As it turned out, there were only four or five hundred of them. Smelly long-haired bastards who used their scarves to blow their snot-filled noses on. Then waved them proudly in the air.
They marched in. Took their place on the Northbank. And would not be fucking moved. I was impressed.
Conclusion....City fans are thick smelly bastards. Soon to be joined by northern Tarquins. I'm sure they will like each other immensely.

A very good friend of mine is a City season ticket holder, and has been for thirty years.
He lives in Herts and travels to every home game, and naturally his 14 year old boy is a blue and does the same.
His son has been a City fans since birth of course, and has always worn the colours proudly, despite all the stick he has taken at school down the years.
Last week he was called a 'glory hunter' by a Man United fan from Watford!

One of my best mates (and a groomsman at my wedding) is a Citeh fan since birth (he was born in Manchesteh but grew up in Dublin). He's been a fan since the 70's, travelling to support them since the 80's, an ST holder since the early 90's and he too is now labelled a "gloryhunter" by Oirish plastic Manure "fans", the type of crunts that have never been to a game in their fucking lives.
Citeh (like all clubs) have a hardcore of real supporters and they hate the JCL's and bandwagon jumpers as much as the rest of us do.
Personally, no problem with Citeh (the fans can't help it if a rich fuckwad invests, can they). I do however despise chavs, spuds and particularly plastic Oirish manure "fans". GeebagDogFuckers every single one of them.
Of course with Lesbianhead now at Citeh, I do hope they fail!

They revel in the "All football fans in Manchester support Citeh" and "We were here when we were sh*t". So it'll be funny when, as is inevitable, the JCL's from Surrey start to take over and prawn sandwiches replace pie & peas on the lunch menu!
Citeh will just turn into Utd mk2 and will cease to be the Citeh from Maine Road that we all know and hate.....
That said, I still think it will all go TU when:
- UEFA regulations kick in
OR
- Oil wells run dry
OR
- the shiekhs are overthrown by the rebels!
