Im no Wenger lover - becoming more and more disallusioned
BUT the media have it in for us at the moment - and im intelligent enough to make my own mind up about what I think is right and wrong - the £6 offer is False, i thought it at the time, and the club have stated that now.
Im not saying we havnt bid below the asking price - its how all negotations start esp for a player who has a year on his contract and is inclined to move away from his current club, but it winds me up when people have a go at the club when they are being spoon fed rubbish and cant actually take a step back and think it might not be true!
As i say, im no Wenger apologist, if we dont sign anyone il want him gone...but im not going to have a pop at him over something that isnt true.

Let's say it may be £7m, as the Guardian says. Then that is still derisory, but is not £6m.
I think we can all assume that anything below £10m we can call derisory and be pretty pissed off that Arsenal weuld bid that much, should it be the case.

Arsenal have said it wasnt £6m, Bolton have never said its £6m like some have said - the media seem to have made this up!
As i say, negotiations are a game - but ive seen lots of rumours it was between 9-11 which im thinking is most likely. Im sure we have bid low, its what we do but i doubt it was as low as that - Bolton want 18-20
Bolton will not be happy with any bids will they, they will want to entice other clubs to come in and start a bidding war so will go public - something Arsenal do not do, not a Wenger trait, historically we have never gone public - so for us to come out and say the £6m is false is good enough for me.
