Apparently we bid 6mil for Cahill
Some of the posts on here are nothing short of embarrassing. When will you people learn to not trust anything the media write or hardly anything Wenger says?
Oh, and Babatunde - much to the same tune of what Flash and DB10 said - cut it out. I have no previous memory of your posts, so I cannot agree or disagree with DB10 about how you usually come across, but you're coming across like as extremely annoying on this thread.

Bellends like you are exactly the reason why this Forum is going to shit, incredibly boring, and resort to generalistic rose tinter bollocks as soon as you are proven wrong / you disagree with something.Babatunde wrote:Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:And here are some more things our honest club has saidBabatunde wrote:Wenger has said its false, il believe my own club before some fat northerner who knows his main asset is likely to leave on a free next year if he doesnt get a good price.Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:what a suprise......this story is false
'There will be significant transfer activity' (Gazidis)
'We are moving to the Emirates to compete with the elite' (Hill Wood)
'We don't want his sort' (Hill Wood again, on Kroenke - before selling to Kroenke!)
'We will remain English owned' (Ken Friar - before becoming Yank owned)
'I have significant funds' (Wenger - before the AKBs contradict what their leader says and claim he Has no money! Do you believe him or not then?)
Carry on though BDB, you might even beat Usain Bolt in a backwards race...
Watch the press conference, all parties seem angry in this, Wenger said he will "confront" Gartside who has since, funilly enough, deleted the tweets - a sign he knows he is in the wrong. The £6m figure, as far as i can see, has only been mentioned by the Media - who, again, seem to have it in for us at the moment - choosing to ***** over teams with £75m benches (before moaning the England team is a load of shit)
The sad thing is, all this hotility around the bid will probably stop any potential move happening - and listen to this Berbetunde - if we dont bring anyone in, and have a shit season, i will want Wenger gone. Not very rosetinter is it?

I'm going to stick up for BDB here.
I'm no wenger-ite but when BDB originally said it was 'false' he wasn't refering to it as a false rumour but infact the bid amount was false. No one knows the amount.
I can see how badly this thread has turned simply because a few posters have read between the lines of what BDB posted.
It's clear from both parties that a bid has been made and has been rejected.

Steven Howard having a go at Wenger in the Sun
"Fans are turning against Wenger so much so they are making decisions for him, imploring him to remove Chamack from the field of play against Liverpool"
Anyone see the obvious mistake with that?
Thats the shit im talking about, have a go at Wenger if you wish, thats fine, often justified - but not when your using the media as your barometer.

always makes me laugh how people get wound up by the media.....99% is rubbish! That John Cross from the Mirror is a right bulshitting twat
Its out of coyles mouth so not false
"There was a conversation between Phil Gartside and a representative of Arsenal," said Coyle.
"I'm only passing this on as a third party, but the word "derisory" doesn't even cover it.
"When I make an offer for a player, I'd like to think in the right ball park, but this wasn't even close"
The rumuor is we bid 11, which i think is fair given the player, his unproven ability at the top level (CL) and his contract expiry next year.
On the one hand you're having a pop at people for 'believing the media' (even though Coyle and Gartside substantiated the £6 mil bid), yet on the other hand, you are passing off a rumour you plucked out of thin air (where the hell did you get that £11 mil figure from??) as FACT.

Sorry mate could you pls point to me where I abused anyone? If you could I'd happily apologise. Using the terms 'sheep' and calling someone an 'AKB' and making inferences to the Communist party of Russia doesn't count as abuse in my book.flash gunner wrote:@Babatunde - Stop with the abuse of other people with differing views.... youre going down the USMartin route and it pisses people off
Someone disagreeing with me telling me to 'bore off' however (as BDB did), counts as abuse in my book though. But if I'm being too rude or hurting people's delicate sensitivities then I apologise profoundly.
I'll keep it stale and bland like the BBC from now on....
Fair enough dude. I'll tone down the piss-taking.DB10GOONER wrote:I agree with this. Babatunde, you make some excellent points at times, mate. (Ppl are awfully sensitive though at times non!)
Like I said last night, every online media outlet is jumping on the arsenal bandwagon purely for search engine optimisation. The more hits and time people spend on their article the further they move up the ranking ladder, which increasing the traffic and value of their site.
The online subject of the week is arsenal. Every c*nt out there is talking about us meaning every c*nt is searching our phrases to view to latest chit-chat (bullsh*t).
Funnily enough, numerous people (for whatever reason, possibly clueless) pin-point everything they read and spread the word like wildfire.
Great work from the muppets who write and manage these online sites cause they know the clowns out there will do their dirty work for them once the article is afloat on the web.
IGNORE THE SEO BULLSH*T

Is this USMartin? Loads of similarities although the posts are from opposite ends of the scale......Babatunde wrote:So BDB.Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:Where is the £6m mentioned? Not at all, im using my brain to form an opinion, but by using my brain i also deduced that there is no way we would bid £6m - people were crying on here, having a go, moaning into their own cum tissues about such a bid -saying its a sign of how low we have become.Babatunde wrote:So BDB.Bendtners Drinking Buddy wrote:Where is the £6m mentioned? Im far from happy with Arsenal, far from happy, but i dont use the media making up stories as my barometer.
Crying over £6m is foolish as it simply isnt true! You need a brain to ascertain information, compute it and come up with rational thought - something you clearly strugggle with.
