Prediction

Post by augie »

I am making a prediction here and now..........rvp will have slapped in a transfer request at least by the end of the season and right now I suspect he will do it tomorrow. The guy's temperment has never been that good to begin with but today he just looked totally pissed off and is not the type of guy that will hang around imo

Agree or disagree ?

Whole team were shite. Only one who could be excuses was Shezza, because of what he had for a team in front of him.

Van Persie is a great player in a winning team Augie but he is a crap player in a losing team.

His head goes down so quickly and he either looks like he'll lose his temper or he just wants to be somewhere else.

But today (and the last 14 league matches) are not down to RvP - it is all down to Wenger. He just doesn't have the answers any more.

Agree. Can you see Wilshere wanting to stick around? or Scez?

Why would they.

Of course he'll want to go, any half decent player would and more importantly, who is going to want to come in? Even if Wenger wanted to spend big money?

I think Kroenke will discretely canvass opinion from RvP, Vermaelen and Sagna as to whether Wenger should stay.

RVP was shit today! Did not hold up the ball properly, fluffed pen, tried a first time shot when he had time.

Expect more from a captain

This is not a thread slating van persie's performance or that of any of the players but is about the demeanor of the guy and how pissed off he looks. Again I totally understand that pissed off feeling but will it lead to a transfer request ?

To be honest any other class manager would have sold him 3/4 years ago due to injury record alone but not Arsene.....he kept giving him extended lucrative contracts for 4 months football every season  :banghead: and the only time he showed what he could do was last season not bad for 7/8 yrs with us!!!.

Today he did jack shit, wasn't worth him being there and if he does put in a transfer request, fine.

I am just saying that with a performance like that from him today, today is not a day I'd entertain any bollox from him.

The thing was I knew he was gonna fuck that pen up! I could see it in his eyes!

I agree mate and didn't think it was. But how can a player of RvP's quality not be pissed off - even more so as he will know what we don't - i.e. what is really going on inside our shambles of a Club.

He's seen all our best players leave and looks around now at players that are good enough but don't try / players that just aren't good enough / young players that are being chucked into the deepest of deep ends without a life-jacket.

I can't see him putting in a transfer request though but fully expect him to
:-

1. Get injured during the Int'l break and be out for weeks / months

2. Put in a request possibly in January but deffo in May.
