Sacked in the morning

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He's gonna get a contract extension after this.

Hill-Wood "2014 old boy?? Sign this and we'll have you until 2020! How does £10million a year sound??"

Wenger "Where's me f**kin' pen??"

Hope this victory doesn't just paper over the facts that we still need fresh ideas, fresh players to move forward. Wenger's got a stay of execution but that could all change by sunday 6pm.

Agreed there, happy we won't after getting ourselves up a few gears in the 2nd Half, but it doesn't change the fact we are fragile everywhere and badly need one or two more experienced heads to lead this team.

Not a chance. I wouldnt be surprised at our club if he extended his contract by a further year in the morning :banghead:

We can only hope the fucker turns it in!

I do have a sneaking suspicion that this is the end and he will go!

Wenger is so stubborn he'll never walk and no-one on the board has the balls. Finishing mid-table will see him sacked at the end of the season.
This is the end of the Arsenal Football Club as we know it. New lows are around the corner and there is little hope of being a force in the game unless Kroenke sells up to a sugar daddy.

Because PSG are flush with cash and he will get mega money there.

Anyhow, its not like he is skint and needs the dough!

I posted on Augie's thread that I think Kroenke will now discretely seek the views of Van Persie, Vermaelen and Sagna as to whether Wenger can continue.

Wenger has run the team to the ground. I firmly expect Swansea to beat us next week.
