You damn well deserve one. As do all Gooners today. An apology for fielding a too young, too inexperienced team against a behemoth opposition; an apology for playing absolutely NONSENSE tactics of pressing and a high-line when the calibre of the opponent is that good; an apology for an atrocious missed penalty; an apology for being ridiculed out of OT; all of it.Eboue-Why? wrote:460 mile round trip.. £150 spent.. 8 goals conceded..
I want an apology.

Our fans almost brought a tear to my eye with their loyalty though. Well done.

Thanks fella. However I was a bit dissapointed that when the sixth and seventh went in the singing didn't turn temporarily against the manager. I try getting "We deserve more than this" going but no-one was having it!Barriecuda wrote:You damn well deserve one. As do all Gooners today. There were fewer of us today at Old Trafford than last March for the FA cup 1/4 final - and the fantastic support during the last 15 mins ("We won the league...in Manchester") - but Jeez how good was it to have everyone sing in our little corner and completely rock this place!
Absolutely brilliant! A unique experience!
The more they scored the more we sang!
It was 8-2 United on the pitch.... But def clean sheet in the stands: 10-0 for the Gooners!!!
Shame the 20 mins non-stop " We love you Arsenal" weren't enough to get the team to score...
Can't feel my hands anymore by the way...That constant clapping was hardcore....wish there was more of that at the Emirates!
Glad there was unconditional support for the team: when players have the worst day of their life isn't the right time to make it worse in turning on them.
WE LOVE U ARSENAL - WE DO!!

I've just got back from old trafford and for the first time in couple of years, I've lost my voice. From the beginning of the second half we just kept singing, it was inspirational. We didn't turn on the team, manager or board. We kept supporting the team. I'm proud to have been part of that crowd today. Arsenal til I die

Hear,Hear.I posted my congratulations to our "Valiant" away supporters on another thread,(which was strangled at birth),but well done to them all, they could be heard throughout the game above the Surrey tourists!!!Dan_85 wrote:Take a fucking bow everyone who was there today, the away end was fantastic. Glad the fans are still doing the club proud even if those running it arent!
