Just got back. Left at 6-1 and I have never in my life left a match before full time before. The players should do the decent thing and refund the fans ticket costs.
Just watched the highlights on MOTD and found out that Jenkinson got sent off too. Felt sorry for him today to be honest. Out of his depth and no guidance from any senior player.
Rotten from top to bottom.
Fans were great today. "We love you Arsenal" was sung for at least 25 minutes straight. Utd fans were bemused.
Did hear "spend some money" and it nearly almost turning ugly between two fans. (thought one of them might be MikeyB)

How can Arsene still be manager tomorrow?
Its a complete shambles and cant see it improving any time soon. Without sounding like USMartin, What are the board going to do about the situation?

I agree with the sentiment, but these players are so out of depth and it's not even their fault.

If it were a top quality team that had a poor game and under-performed, I'd go along with it. But these are, on the whole, poor players who are only playing to their capabilities.

The only person to blame is AW.

Was not Mikey kicking off, I was standing next to him when we saw it go off, not having a dig at you but let's get that straight.

While I agree Wenger has to take the majority of the blame, the players also have to take responsibility as tey just don't want to put the effort in. They heard us singing today and they just don't care.
I just saw Rosickys attidtude after the freekick and Asharvin/Walcott, no fuck it, the whole team do not deserve to be paid their wages on that performance. I hope (but doubt it) they feel ashamed of themselves.

Sorry I meant to put a smiley thing there as I read a post yesterday between Mikey and someone and the situation reminded me of the online discussion/argument (no offense meant to Mikey)

Walcott was a true disgrace by the way. Who the fuck is he to chastise Jenkinson?

Walcott has been one of the worst players I've ever seen at the club, and has shown little-to-no effort since joining us. To suddenly turn around and slate the new boy is outrageous.

I wasn't a fan of Jenkinson before today, but anyone who tells Walcott to "fuck off" is alright with me.

True to an extent, although there were a lot of players out there today who are just not ready for a game of that magnitude at this level & through no fault of their own have found themselves chucked in right at the fucking deep end & have, unsurprisingly, floundered horribly.

Also note that Utd's average age was lower than ours today, guess that put's paid to Arsene's "we are still a young side" excuse.

Disagree strongly.

Walcott is a not bad player, though not world class etc.

He has shown a reasonable goal ratio since getting over shoulder injuries, and does well considering he is played wide right when I think he would be better more central.

He puts in effort and runs hard, but can appear "lost" at times. He is no Ray Parlour in right midfield, but then Ray Parlour was no Theo Walcott up front.
There is only so much tracking back a player like Walcott will do, or should have to do.
His energy should be used for high speed sprints on goal, not running all over the pitch like a Flamini.

The bust up with Jenkinson? Would like to know what was said because is Jenkinson so innocent? At least it shows passion on behalf of both of them.

I feel worse and even more disbelieving now than I did when the game finished 6 hours ago...... Did it really happen or was it a nightmare???

One thing is for sure. Something HAS to change. Felt sorry for Jenkinson out there. He actually showed some bottle and never gave up. The last time I saw heads go down like that was in kids 7-a-side.

Experienced players hiding. Too much expected of inexperienced players.

I agree with Rednapp (twice in a day!) - too much time spent in pre-season trying to hold on to players (and at least 'arry was successful).

If we were going to sign decent players then it should have been 2 months ago. Not now that we're already 3 games in with 1 point and a laughing stock!

But one of the worst aspects of todays game - and this shouldn't be a surprise - was the total tactical naviety. We went toe to toe with.....Barcelona....and could have conceded 8 over the two legs. And now we go toe to toe with Utd.

Sorry Arsene. Been nice knowing you, but I think times up!
