Aliadiere gets 4 game ban!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Aliadiere gets 4 game ban!

Post by sithegooner »

You couldn't make it up! Aliadiere appealed against his red card for 'slapping' a liverpool player, yet Martin Taylor will serve a 3 game ban fo breaking eddys leg.

WHERES THE FUCKING JUSTICE IN THAT?

Next its gunner be wenger getting fined beacuse of his coments. Or Gary lewin having his physio badge taken away beacuse he looked a bit grumpy on the bench.

Because Taylor hasn't appealed against his red card, am I right in saying that he cannot be banned for further games??

What the FA are saying is what Aliadiere did was worse than Taylor. The worlds gone fcuking mad.
And dont forget he is not English and used to play for us as well. That sums up the FA-Fucking Arseholes

Don't even know what frivolous means..
1. characterized by lack of seriousness or sense: frivolous conduct.
2. self-indulgently carefree; unconcerned about or lacking any serious purpose.
3. (of a person) given to trifling or undue levity: a frivolous, empty-headed person.
4. of little or no weight, worth, or importance; not worthy of serious notice: a frivolous suggestion.

YOU DON'T NEED TO BE CLEVER, OTHERWISE THE LIKES OF REBEL, STEARMASTER, STATS AND SMOOTHIE WOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED ON!!

I WOULD SUGGEST YOU HAVE A DICTIONARY AT HAND TO ENABLE YOU TO UNDERSTAND AND LEARN SOME OF THE LESS-COMMONLY HEARD WORDS. IT ALSO HELPS WITH SPELLING. 8)

I personally think Wenger's comments about Taylor were poor but what he said when Diaby got injured made perefct sense. If you break somebody's leg with a tackle you sjould be out for as long as the player you hurt.

This just sums up the FA and their idea of discipline. "Don't waste our time or we'll ban you further, on the other hand maim someone and take the 3 game rap and all is well with us".

So this is situation:-

Aliadiere - 4 match ban for a gentle (and I mean gentle) face slap.
Taylor - 3 match ban for a horrific career threatening injury that puts a player out the game for a year.

Once again the FA surpass themselves.
