McLintock and GG...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

They're lazy fuckers aren't they? Country in crisis, and they're all at festivals smoking weed/thieving/pissing in each others pockets. :banghead: :)

Both repeated pretty much what we've all been saying for years - 2 new CBs, a midfielder and a centre forward and we would have won the League in the last few years.

McClintock sees Wenger being sacked this season if things continue to decline.

The fans support was commented upon.

Morning Goingtoworkslops of Oireland!

McLintock actually looks in pain talking about the state of Arsenal.

Good on Kamara and the other plank next to him who went to lengths to praise the fans yesterday.

Morning to you too, dayoffslop.

I love the fact the FMcL still wears his Gooner colours very much on his sleeve. Didn't he get into a ruck with someone he thought was taking the piss last season (or the one before?) in the corporates?

What I'd give to have a couple of McLintock's in our current "team". 8)

To be honest, and I have thought this for a while, GG looks totally detached from the club now.

Where as McLintock talks from the heart GG talks in a cold sterile way. No mention from him of 'The Arsenal' anymore.

Would love to read what the lijkes of Keown, Parlour and Dixon made of yesterday.

I honestly believe that GG is afraid to slate wenger in case he is accused of sour grapes - for me he is in a no win scenario cos if he does slate wenger he will be accused of being jealous of a guy who many claim is the clubs best ever manager but if he reacts like he did this morning he will be questioned on his lack of passion so whats a man to do ? :?
Would love to see GG in charge of these players for 6 months cos this apathy wouldnt be allowed to continue thats for sure

I would welcome GG back with both arms but we both know there is far too much water under the bridge for that to happen!

I love GG as a manager and nobody will ever convince me that wenger is a better manager than him 8)

When GG was sacked I was very unhappy at the way it was done but I did agree that the team had gone stale and it was time for a change. What is getting on my tits right now is that the same thing is happening again now but our decision makers are bottling the decision to sack him :x

The thing about GG is that he knew and appreciated what it meant to play for our club - he made the players dress befitting of a club of our stature, he instilled a passion and work ethos in his players and he would never tolerated this total apathy that is running through too many players
