We won the league at Anfield

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Relax basil, no one said you couldn't compare, just that my comparison was between Arsenal ladies and other ladies teams. Since that's who they're competing against. No more no less.

Arsenal Ladies matches are now starting to be show on ESPN, they were live against Everton a couple of weeks ago. THere is also a highlights programme midweek.

The Ladies play at Borehamwood and it only costs a fiver to get in. I am sure they would appreciate more support, even from you lot!

Sorry but if I pay £5 to watch some ladies I fully expect a naked arse gyrating in my face with the opportunity of a private show in a booth!

Ok, but it just frustrates me the massive difference in the way Ladies football is viewed here and everywhere else (the amount of grief I get on here every time I post a thread about the Ladies is example enough), yet the AFC Ladies have class, pride and passion in their game and their Club, unlike the bunch of over paid losers I have spent £1000 on this year.

Ok I am sure Vic Akers will do that for you at half time if you ask him nicely.

Furry muff.

Can't speak for "everywhere else" but you wouldn't seriously expect this place NOT to take the piss, would you? :?

Yes but its not taking the piss, I am used to that on here. Its just a general opinion that the womens game is inferior to the mens, and its not an informed opinion its just a general one that women and football dont go together.

I'm not against women playing football at all tbh. But let's be honest, the women's game is inferior bas. On every level. That's not to say its worthless but you can't honestly be expecting the majority to hold it in the same regard. Or hold it against them when they don't. :?

Not that I can speak for other people but I think most of the jibes are light hearted enough, & the more easily you get wound up the more fun it probably becomes. That's the nature of this place & blokes in general, not just toward womens football.

I am actually happy something in our club is working. Some may abhor women in football, but at least these ladies play with pride, passion and with a real desire to win trophies.

Good for them and may the success continue
Exactly! Well played - literally!!!!! :barscarf:
Ooooh I can see Sammy getting a mention in the Well Played section of the next edition of the Gooner!!

This is what happens when you mix women with football...
