To be honest, and I have thought this for a while, GG looks totally detached from the club now.

Where as McLintock talks from the heart GG talks in a cold sterile way. No mention from him of 'The Arsenal' anymore.

Would love to read what the lijkes of Keown, Parlour and Dixon made of yesterday.

Sadly i have heard interviews with all three of them and all have said Wenger has to change but dont sack him

Much as Ian Wright gets given stick by some gooners - unfairly in my opinion - at least he isn't afraid to say what's necessary and won't mince his words for fear of upsetting wenger or others at the club. Can't say the same about the above - although Keown used to but seems to have dampened down his criticism.

I honestly believe that GG is afraid to slate wenger in case he is accused of sour grapes - for me he is in a no win scenario cos if he does slate wenger he will be accused of being jealous of a guy who many claim is the clubs best ever manager but if he reacts like he did this morning he will be questioned on his lack of passion so whats a man to do ?
Would love to see GG in charge of these players for 6 months cos this apathy wouldnt be allowed to continue thats for sure

Bring back GG? Well, it seems to have done Liverpool the power of good bringing back Dalglish. Some one who can instill the values and standards of the club. But remember his transfer policy? Remember him ditching Rocky for Jensen. Remember he had a midfield of Selley, Hillier and Carter.
For me Keown and Parlour would shake things up in that dressing room. Both supporters of the club and more importantly part of The Invincibles, with benefit of working with Graham's regime.

I said to my brother after the game yesterday that George Graham should be brought in to manage the Club for the rest of this season. Wenger should be sacked, as we all know, which would mean any new man having to work with the defence he currently has available. I have always said that any defenders can be taught how to play as a unit and can be successful once organised (just look at Fulham and West Brom under Hodgson). There is nobody better to organise a poor defence than George (did it at Leeds and Spurs) so, in a season of damage limitation, it would make great sense to me - we might even get somewhere in Europe with a proper tactician in charge (and we'd be a hundred times better on set-pieces, and the players would be forced to wear a club suit!)

i understand the highlighted part, but what would you say about our current midfield of a semi-dead rosicky, alex fucking song and abou half-a-brain diaby? is it that much better?

sadly and funnily enough both great managers will probably have similar careers at arsenal - a wonderful start, some beautiful titles (including winning the league unbeaten or with just one loss) and then a sad end with a team filled with subquality players.

it was good while it lasted, but i would prefer to see a new face, someone who actually understands about modern football - 'cause in the end, what it seems to me is that arsène is still living in the 90's, when you actually could build a great team without having to spend too much money.

Yes mate; this is bizarre. Surely they must realise that Wenger is never, ever going to change and even if he was - he would have changed by now. How many end-of-season collapses or 8-2's or 4-4's does it take to see that Wenger does not have the answers anymore??

Even Pep Guardiola has said that Wenger is still a great man and needs time to turn it around. Maybe, just maybe all his defenders know he is a spent force but they have a soft spot for what Wenger achieved between 1996 - 2004. Football can be a sentimental old game at times.

Trouble is though - how much worse will it have to get before pundits stand up and admit the awful truth??

When GG was sacked I was very unhappy at the way it was done but I did agree that the team had gone stale and it was time for a change. What is getting on my tits right now is that the same thing is happening again now but our decision makers are bottling the decision to sack him

The thing about GG is that he knew and appreciated what it meant to play for our club - he made the players dress befitting of a club of our stature, he instilled a passion and work ethos in his players and he would never tolerated this total apathy that is running through too many players

I would say those rosicky, diaby and song are better than the three I quoted. But I've always been guarded about returning back to an old manager. The club is so much bigger than in Graham's day he wouldn't recognise it from the inside. At liverpool the club has not grown much from when the first time Dalglish was there so it was easier for him to settle in.

I was a big fan of GG, I don't think he is the man to step in though, not even until the end of the season.
The difference with Dalglish was that, to me he still seemed to be very much involved "behind the scenes" at L'pool, even if in an unofficial capacity. He still attended most games and had his finger on the pulse of the club.
GG however has been out of the game for a long time and is to be found on the golf course more often than an Arsenal game.
