I know its goal.com but there are actual quotes attributed to Goetzes agent that state he will NOT be leaving Dortmund for "at least the next 2 years"

This is it, most would have Baines but he ain't great defending, he is all the rage because of his attacking qualities.Irish Gooner wrote:I'd wait and see on this Santos guy. I know BG says he cant defend.
But lets be honest, Clichy couldnt defend or attack. Traore is the same and a waster. And Gibbs cant defend and is always injured.
This guy at least will be an upgrade. Its all about coaching, tactics and our system! Winterburn would look vulnerable in this system with no protection!
All I'm saying is Brazil LB is alot better than what we currently have. And most LBs out there now are fucking shite anyway.
Leighton Baines, is a big name now, the guy can barely defend either!

Again I know it is just rumours but I did suggest a few pages back that getting this lad to agree to leave dortmund could be as troublesome as actually agreeing a fee with them

Arsenal, Liverpool and Lille chase Yossi Benayoun
Arsenal, Liverpool and French club Lille have all approached Chelsea over the possibility of signing midfielder Yossi Benayoun, BBC Sport understands.
The 31-year-old Israeli posted on Twitter on Monday that he is on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal are looking to strengthen their midfield following the departures of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.
Benayoun joined Chelsea from Liverpool for £5m in July 2010 but has seen just one minute of action this season.
It has been rumoured Benayoun would be included in an offer from Chelsea for Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric.
"Negotiating with several teams... news soon," wrote Benayoun on Twitter.
Newcastle have also been linked with the Israel captain, who was restricted to 10 appearances for the club last season due to an Achilles injury, which kept him out for six months.
Benayoun spent two years at West Ham before joining Liverpool in 2007.
He scored 29 goals in 134 games for the Reds.
You really couldn't make this up. Lille again? I am starting to feel sorry for them. We're after all of their transfer targets
Anyway he's 31 so if he is to sign, I suppose it'll be a two-year contract. A disgrace when you consider the way Wenger acted with Pires over a similar contract. Arsene's mind:
Signing two-year deals with over-30 nobodies - cool.
Signing two-year deals with over-30 Arsenal legends - no way.

one of the best strikers out there imo. a true fighter on the pitch
And yet again we have been stuck like a car in neutral gear

Look at all the good players that have gone cheap(ish) this summer whilst we have been fcuking about signing league 1 players

Is there any point posting in this thread whilst Wenger is still around? Even if he had Barcelona's starting XI he would still get fourth and he'd be happy with it. He's got no tactics, no structure, no plan B, no ambition he can't motivate, he's stubborn and he won't change his shite and flawed 'philosophy.'
p.s. If we sign Benyanoun would he get pissed if we sing about the y*ds?
