Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

one of the best strikers out there imo. a true fighter on the pitch :(
We missed out big time there. Quite cheap he was too.

Don't worry though we've got the dog eater lined up.
for a moment i imagined forlan playing as the centre forward for us with rvp as second striker. stuff of the heavens :barscarf:

might try on fifa later since it's the only way i'll ever see arsenal buying a big player

I know its goal.com but there are actual quotes attributed to Goetzes agent that state he will NOT be leaving Dortmund for "at least the next 2 years"

Get Parker in. Heard he's stalling as doesn't want to go to Spurs.
Please, please, please sign him before he goes to them. Gonna be a huge mistake, letting him go :banghead:

So the answer to selling a left back who is good going forward but can't defend for shit is to buy the exact type of player if people who know about santos are to be believed :banghead: We are crying out for an experienced PL player in defence and by all accounts we aren't going to get one and what's more it looks like Cesc will be replaced by benayoun ffs

Malouda is a good player but we don't need him...we have far more pressing concerns than another wide player...

Saying that i should really take in to account who our manager is...the guy is so in a world of his own now it wouldn't surprise me if he bought another wideman and didn't bother his arse with a cb or cm...

Or I've seen us linked with Jan Vertonghen... he's massive compared with most of our team (at 6' 3" )

So two down, hopefully two to go.
I think both signings when confirmed will be good pick ups, I am just hoping we're saving cash for something big. Squeaky Bum time...again.

Like most on here I feel physically sick about the thought of going to work. Got 3 united fans who have never been near Manchester and going to get shit all day.

If they've never been then they are hardly "fans". My advice would be to go on the offensive. "Score 8 and you still don't go...."!

or go the other way and admit we were shit and say it isnt good enough, that'll take the wind out of their sails if you just agree. It should stop sooner than if you argue

Doesn't matter who he signs, Wenger is finished, so in a way I hope he signs no one.
