I'M WATCHING LA LIGA ON SKY SPORTS 1 AT THE MOMENT AND IN PARTICULAR BARCELONA TAKING THE OPPOSITION APART. YOU CAN'T HELP BUT BE IMPRESSED AT HOW THE SPANIARDS PLAY FOOTBALL. IT'S AS GOOD, IF NOT EVEN MORE EXCITING THAN US AND IT APPEARS THEY HAVE THE SLIGHT EDGE IN POTENTIAL MATCH WINNERS.
SO IT'S GOT ME THINKING: IF YOU COULD PICK A TEAM PLUS FIVE SUBS FROM THE CURRENT SQUADS OF BOTH CLUBS, ARSENAL AND BARCELONA, WHO WOULD THE PLAYERS BE?

I SUPPOSE PUYOL COULD BE CHOSEN IN PLACE OF GALLAS AND IT WOULDN'T WEAKEN THE TEAM. THE SAME COULD PROBABLY BE SAID FOR A NUMBER OF OTHER POSITIONS. :ALSO, I DID SAY INITIALLY THAT I HADN'T GIVEN IT TOO MUCH THOUGHT BUT JUST WENT WITH INSTINCT. lol:

you don't have much belif in our players do you? lol
I haven't seen Barca enough to tell their best 11 but those are the 4 Gooners I reckon would take a place in the startingline up. Possibly also Gallas ahead of Puyol but having seen how poor our Captain can be when he's having a bad day I'm not sure.

Haha yeah, I always get the impression that spanish supporters are biased in one way or another, but then they celebrate everygoal with the same passion.
