To be honest I agree. Guy has flop written all over him.tel wrote:Another cheap shit deal brought to you by Arsenal Football club. No other club would touch a player who would have to go home in 2 years apart from us.Dan_85 wrote:He's returning to Korea in 2013 to join the army...![]()

Well of course it did, but all we've done is replace one cheap signing with another. Neither player is good enough for our 1st team. This smacks of George Graham buying Hartson and Kiwomya all over again. The last breaths of a desperate man.AFCWozza wrote:Do you not think this deal may have had something to do with Campbell not being granted a work permit?tel wrote:Another cheap shit deal brought to you by Arsenal Football club. Our number 9
Is Park Chu Young
He's from South Korea
Near the land of the rising Sun
(Got him from France for something of a pitt-ence)
Not paid too much
For Park Chu Young
Just the £3m quid
Plus a hotdog without the bun

TO BE FAIR:
Korean players are hard working, consistent and focused. They give 100%, they don't fuck around talking shit with the media, they just get on with their job. They might not be the most technically brilliant or creative, but they are solid and I'm sure the captain of South Korean team will give us his all.
You have to give him credit for going back in 2013 to complete his duty as a citizen - that's a lot less selfish than a lot of people in the modern age. I'm sure star athletes with money can get out of that military service without too much difficulty.
I'm actually a bit excited for this guy - just a nice change of pace.
