Call me cynical, but these last minute signings have an aire of PR about them, spend a few million, and lets face it that's all it is. And at the same time distract or demean any protest against the board/wenger.
I'm not saying I'm displeased by the acquisition of Meretersacker or indeed the prospect Dos Santos, as they are undoubtedly superior to what we have.
The fact that an anti-wenger fan like me is welcoming these signings, is a measure of how someone sitting on the "wenger out fence" will react ie a poor showing at the protest, maybe even counteracted with a red action parade in favour of Wenger.

Agree Sid.

The sad thing is, we still are going to struggle this season regardless of those 3 signings.

Another 3 or 4 today is needed. But we never do what is needed. I honestly think right now Spurs and Liverpool have stronger squads and are still improving them in the window.

These signings reek of panic buys and I'm sure we'll see more in January.

Wenger's tenure as manager just is not there fight and they have always distanced themselves from that as a) their issues with the club still stand regardless who the manager is and b) there is a chance of dividing support for the movement if the manager's position is included ala what has happened in Block 6.

BSM has never been about Wenger and so to blame them from shirking the issue is plain daft! Maybe reading their 'manifesto' would help clarify things!

Fair nuff...but do you not think it's funny for them to single out the board for derisory comments, when the manager has actually made MORE of them than the board??! By your own admission it is Hill-Wood they want out. How stupid is this? Guy has a less than 1% stake in the club!!! He has fuck all influence.

Just admit it. BSM would never call for the manager to go because they are spineless and too afraid to upset the AKB cult. And why is AW's tenure as boss 'not their fight'?? It's their club and he is the one fucking things up more than anyone else has!!!!

The only signing of any impresison has been Mertesacker. Some Korean dickhead from Ligue Deux and some fake Brazilian from the Turkish league ain't gonna fool me. Shocking window...made worse by the fact that had Arsenal been beaten 3-1 at OT, nothing would have happened. We laugh at 'Arry for his scattergun approach but then again he makes bargain basement deals like VDV.
Wenger makes bargain basement buys like Shitachi and Korean whatshisface

Why should I admit anything you arrogant turd?

I am not part of BSM but have simply taken the time to read about their objectives. As for spineless at least they do somethign real rather than being a keyboard commando preaching to everyone from the comfort of their sofa.

Whether Hill-Wood had 1% of the shares or 99% is not the issue. As Chairman of the club he is the figurehead and he has alienated the everyday, hard working supporter whose cash finances the club to a large extent. That is what irks!

Say what you like to be honest! You are coming across as a bit of a know it all fuckwit who is looking to build some kind of reputation on here.

When will you get it into your head that the removal of Wenger isn't BSM's fight in the same way the World Wildlife Fund are not interested in the use of children in sweat shops!

This is such typical forum bullshit ; Look at a fans group from afar, do a little bit of research, and then slag them off for what they are doing because it does not 100% agree with your opinions.

Aaaaw diddums Percy I think I've hurt your feelings!
Yeah you're right i am desperately trying hard to cultivate my online cult of personality! Nah mate....I just think the BSM are being a bit spineless that's all. I like the way you decided to get abusive....whilst ignoring my CLEAR comment about 'me respecting them for at least getting off their arses and doing something'

But perhaps Tesco have run out of tampons, so I'll be delicate and say nothing more on the issue, wouldn't want you to chuck another tantrum![/b]

Oh behave!

You simply do not have a clue! It is fine for you to call people you obviously know nothing about spineless but it is me that gets abusive. As for ignoring facts, you simply do not seem interested in them if they don't line up with your own opinion.

Keep your schoolyard quips too.......I really won't lower myself to that level.

Hi Percy. I said in my opinion, the BSM were spineless. No insults were directed personally at you.
Your response, was to call me a 'turd'. (I was last called this name in the fifth year of school).

Yet apparently, you refuse to 'lower yourself'.

Ok mate, fair enough. Not gonna start an argument or anything....

My opinion on the BSM was that it's commendable what they are doing but it's rather a bit of a scared movement. Lacking in direction.

Still beats those Red Action lot though....
