Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I would loved to have Parker at Arsenal.

Agrees Song, for the better part of last year, was trying to do his role and thought he could do Cesc's at the same time.
Sadly, he hasn't changed. Still wonders forward.

Rambo needs a break (poor choice of words). We miss Jack so there's alot of responciblity on Aarron's shoulders. Also why make him the Welsh Captain at 19 or whatever!

The thought of having Jack and Parker in the side would have complimented each other.

But.......
He's a sp*d now so fuck him!

HAVE YOU SEEN HOW GASH SONG AND RAMSEY ARE/HAVE BEEN!!!!
Parker is defo average - but he remains 200% superior to Alex Thong, and 100% superior an option to Ramsey or Frimpong (oh sorry I forgot. Frimpong is the new Essien).
So Parker in midfield, Adebayor up front, Dawson and Kaboul at the back, Bale on the wings and Van der Vaart in the hole. How can ANYONE say Arsenal's shower of shit is remotely close to that??

Spuds went to OT and conceded 3 and were in the game first half.

Arsenal went there and were gangbanged 8-2.

But sure, yeah Parker not good enuff for us!!!
Spurs also lost 5-1 at HOME to Man City.

Best striker in the world is struggling to find a home. He's gone round the country but no luck so far.

As will we, but the difference is Spurs have Parker, Adebayor, possibly Cahill and a fully interested Modric to add to the side.
A fully interested Modric? Doubt it. Parker? Someone who is incredibly injury prone. Adebayor? Someone who'll fuck off after about 3 months. Cahill? Not yet, I still don't think it'll happen.

Seriously chill out for the moment. We're not talking about them signing half of Barcelona's first team
Good points Rigsby but

1. I'll take a disinterested Modric over Tom fucking Rosicky and errr...oh that's it, anyday.
2. I'll take a mercenary Bayor over Park-Choo whatshisface anyday or Chamakh
3. Do I really need to point out the irony of us accusing Parker of being injury-prone???

Really? I hadn't noticed...

Good thing I am comparing TWO IDENTICAL FIXTURES.

EIGHT FUCKING TWO.

Spuds lost 3-0

That is all.

Just seen an email to M'Vilas agent, seen they were ringing his phone on another forum.
To WB-Sportmanagement

Concerning Yann M'Vila, the bid has been put through of 35 million € plus add ons. What is your players response and will Rennes accept this bid?

Regards

Ivan Gazidis,
Chief Executive,

Arsenal Football Club
Lets just wait and see what happens lads.....

Where's the MIDFIELDER?

Mertesacker is a good signing granted but Wenger normally gets lucky with 1 or 2 in 10.
We had BETTER make a top quality midfield signing or we are still in big trouble. It may nor matter anyway becauseWenger couldnt make it work with Fabregas and Nasri in the team not to mention the fact that we are weaker this year than last.
