Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Classic mate! If it's a cockney knees up I'll join you!!!

And you'll not be so keen on AFC once you've seen Bender lead your line a few times. Once he's shanked a few into the away fans you'll be begging us to take the useless f**ker back . . .

Dont worry lads, I've seen enough of Bendtner to know he is going to be a quality signing for us. Just hope we get it finalised and hope there is an option to buy at the end of the loan. Not good enough for Arsenal but ever since I've been on here I've been saying how much I'd like to see the lad at Sunderland. It might be happening tonight, gan on Nicky lad

be glad to see the back of bendtner, i use to give him the benefit of the doubt, thinking he at least had age on his side, but after he made a mess of that 1 on 1 chance at the camp nou i think he's done enough to prove that he isn't good enough for us.
really hope we get arteta though, not world class but still a very good player :barscarf:

I'd be happier with both Benayoun and Arteta. Not ideal, but still somewhat encouraging.

this is where arsene fcuks it up ........wait and see
Conflicting reports - Duncan Castles @ Times said fee was not agreed with Everton, but personal terms were fine with Arteta. Deal still off..... :?

Dan Roan said the reason the move may be back on is because Arteta has actually asked for the transfer.

Had an apology from the person concerned in the deletion, so we'll leave it there.

Probably BS but reliable sources on Twitter saying personal terms agreed. Arteta has forced move by requesting transfer. Everton back at table to negotiate fee.

Still think it's too late though.

As much as I think Bender is shite - I hope you're right and I hope he does a grand job for you. Stevie Bruce needs to pull a rabbit out the hat.

But how's Bender gonna get on with the Mackem nite-life?? He'll end every night oot and aboot on the town with his strides round his ankles - the locals won't put up with that old shite . . . . .
