Arteta would be a good signing but Im still not convinced we'll get in the top 4 though top 6 is now a possiblilty.

fcuking months to get our transfer business done and here we are scrambling around to finalise a deal for arteta at the last minute

I like arteta and I think he will be a good signing (if he remains fit) but the simple fact is that he alone will not be able to fill the void left by cesc and the man citeeh transvestite

We needed a minimum of two more top quality players but instead we have signed 2 players from league 1, a costan rican kid who has since gone to france on loan, a chav reject who was so far down the list at that shithole that he wasnt being included in their official 25 man squad

We have seen 11 players leave either on loan or for good so our squad which was too small beforehand has now reduced in size

I'm fcuking speechless I really am

Ex-Gunners defender Martin Keown on Football Focus Special: "I think Arsenal's signings are a step in the right direction, but the club have done a lot of business in the period of a few days. Signings such as Mikel Arteta and Yossi Benayoun will help Arsenal improve but what will buy the manager time is a few good results. Time will tell if Arsene Wenger has made the right signings."
