Bendtner says he's never coming back.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bendtner says he's never coming back.

Bendtner, 23, said: "I will never go back to Arsenal. If I can have it my way, I will never play for them again.

"After my car accident I never really got the chance to earn a spot in the first team.

"That is over 1½ years with no real chance to prove myself.

"I am really looking forward to playing for Sunderland and then we will see next summer.

"I will find a new club — but I will not go back to Arsenal, that's for sure."

Not sure if I can blame him... he had a manager who rated players like Chamakh higher than him and was stuck out on the wing.

That said, for £52k per week, he should play whereever he's asked without any complaints.

I picked NB for my fantasy premier league pool. He better start bagging all sorts of goals at Sunderland.

^See: how to get booted out of Arsenal.

Great, so if another team offer him 35k a week, he'll have no problem accepting it rather than coming back to Arsenal on 52k a week!

Cheers Barry !!

When Adebaywhore left I thought that Bendy was going to kick on and be the main target man. Shame he played/got put out on the wing and could never beat a man, I thought him and Walcott could've made a decent big man - little man partnership.

I think he'll probably do well for them.

Apart from one glorious moment against Tottingham I have never liked Nik and I have liked him even less since he had that chance to rob Barcelona last season.

However, I do have to agree with the above.

I would go as far as saying I detest him but I do have a sneaky feeling that he will go on to better things!

I also remeber the sublime goal he scored against Ipswich in the CC. The whole move was pure quality.

Unlike Percy I don't think he'll do that much. If he were a real quality player then another big club (no disrespect to Sunderland) would have come in for him. How many did?

Barcelona had already used their entire transfer budget for this season, but expect them to return for the player next season.
