If all of our new signings were to fail...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

(exc Gevinho I think hes up to scratch) Would we have enough quality to make top half?

Serious question

Liverpool needed a man of ours to be sent off to beat us. Also players of ours were missing. Liverpool are no better than us and quite frankly I feel we play the better football. We will finish above them, they are good average.

They also had players out don't forget like Gerrard (although i'm not sure how good he is now) , and they had Suarez on the bench too for most of game

Liverpool have got a better and deeper squad than ours.

Now that Wilshire is out for three months, Artera needs to step up straight away. If he doesn't and we continue playing the same formation, I can see us really struggling.

And yes, we will finish in top half. Doesn't matter whether our new signings fail or not. But it's nothing to be proud of.

It's taken us to lose Fabregas and them to spend what they spent to get close.

It's basically van Persie v Suarez with regards to who stays fit and who drags their team over the line.

We've lost Jack, they've lost Gerrard, its fairly even but if our new signings fail then we are fucked as the squad is wafer thin.

Now we have lost Vermaelen long term.

Not looking good.

Wait, what? How long for now?

Why the hell are the club unable to work out how to take care and treat our players when we are injured? :banghead: First it's a few weeks, then 3 months, then the whole damn season.

Next to our reluctance to spend in the transfer market, this is what pisses me off the most. That we lose so many players to long term injury because no one seems to have a clue with whats wrong with them. :banghead:
